Hello, first of all I do not know if I can ask this question here in this section if that is the case please let me know to eliminate it and now if with the problem
What happens is that the games that I have installed in my memory of the wii u in wup format do not save the games and this happened from one moment to another since one night I was playing mario sunshine and the next night when I wanted to restart the game I noticed that my progress was not saved, so I did not give it importance and went back to make my progress again from where I left it but again it happened and the game did not save so I tried with paper mario and the millennial door and I did not save my progress that could that be the problem?
PD: sorry for my bad english

My guess here is that somehow you have memcard emulation turned off in your Nintendont config. I'd say you should try looking at your Nintendont settings. You should be able to do this by launching Nintendont from the vWii Homebrew Channel if you have it installed (and possibly after cancelling autoboot). I'm not sure if you can cancel autoboot when launching an installed GameCube game, never tried it, but if so that's another possibility.

make sure the switch on the size of the sd card is not set to write "locked."
As always said a good format fixes all the errors XD
No, but seriously I find it curious that with a simple formatting it will be fixed I hope this is not a constant error but the good thing is that we already know how to fix it
Thanks for your help friends: D

Formatting you SD card doesn't mean it will fix your issue that would be your last resort if anything

1st check Nintendon't config

2nd when you made the inject did you also check Nintendon't settings (if you used Teconmoons injector tool) it has an option for each game you make

3rd is lock on your SD card down to locked position if so you need to change it to up so Wii U can write to it

4th if your using a Micro SD with adaptor the adaptors can be temperamental try a different adaptor

5th last resort format SD card

I also am having saving issues with my injects, they were working fine before. I can load my saves and play and it seems they do save but when I stop and restart the game the save is reverted to the state it was in before playing. I am sure memcard emulation is on (see my nintendont settings attached to this post).

I've formatted the card and transferred the contents back to the card but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

edit: I forgot to mention, when I try to start a game I have on my SD-card using nintendont from the HBC I am getting some weird-ass error 'failed to create memory card file' which is 100% unlogical because the memory card file is already there, so it should not have to create a new file. And yes, I am sure the write-lock switch is not set to locked as other apps (+ ftpii(u)) are able to write to the card. I am at a loss here...
