Homebrew [WIP] Wumiibo- Amiibo Emulation for 3ds

Thanks for making a new release for us plebs who don't have GitHub accounts.

I've noticed that when I open Wumiibo, the text on the lower screen is often hard to read, like it's only being drawn every other line. If I don't touch the buttons for a second, the text sometimes becomes clearer, but when I move the blue > cursor, it often appears on multiple lines, because the old cursor doesn't get erased after I move it to a new line. Is this a known problem, or did I do something wrong? I've been using Wumiibo with Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.

I tried, but it's difficult to get a picture before the artifacts clear up, and the flash ruined several shots. >_< It seems like each screen refresh fills in a few more pixels. It also doesn't happen every time; it seems like I have to relaunch the game to get another chance for it to happen, but opening and closing Wumiibo over and over, e.g. to scan multiple Amiibo, causes different artifacts each time.

ACE Combat Assault Horizon Legacy + on N2DSXL works fine. Though had to randomise the UID first or it failed.

Did you initilaize the amiibo in amiibo settings? Although last time this game was tested on o3ds, it worked out of the box.

Well nvmd, I'll see if I can repro it and fix it.

I did not no, didn’t know I had to

Selecting mario.bin failed. So I selected the random UID (1 per day thing) and it opened the amiibo. From then on I could select the mario.bin and it loaded fine. (Said I already had it but it opened fine)

I mean i am not sure, most games automatically call amiibo settings when it is unitialized. This game didn't I guess due to which I think it did not work

Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World N2DSXL seems to worn fine. Had it crash when I tried mounting an amiibo when in the amiibo hut.

But doing to following works every single time. (Mounting the same amiibo or a different one)

Select amiibo to emulate, open amiibo menu, it will apply the skin, do the same again with a different amiibo, open menu. Repeat. Hasn’t crashed yet doing the latter.

Hello, I have a problem, I don't know if you could help me solve it
What happens is that when I want to start a game the screen when the 3ds logo appears it stays there and with smash bros there is only a black screen and I tried with wumiibo 1.0 and 2.0 and the same result

strangely enough it always crashes for me if I try to select a second amoibo outside the amiibo hut

Is there a way to 1-click download all the decrypted amiibos?? Absolutely amazing work man!!

For some reason some amiibos don't work as expected for me.
In Detective Pikachu says amiibo isn't compatible, Pikmin doesn't recognize Olimar or Pikmin amiibo as compatible ones and in Toad Treasure Tracker Wending Mario and Wending Browser doesn't unlock any Odyssey inspired levels but Toad amiibo works fine (giving the invincibility mushroom).

All of these using Old 3DS with EU/Worldwide roms

Just wanted to say thanks for the file, Detective Pikachu and Toad Treasure Tracker work now, PikMin also works to unlock levels but it fails to level up/write to amiibo in the PikMin park, but not sure if it real a bug since I don't know if this homebrew is read only or if it writes to amiibo also.

Writing works in ssb so its a bug

that'd be handy, and considering the .bin files weight like 100kb, i assume the whole colection can't be more than a few dozen megabytes at most

You can use amiitool for decrypt bin files but if you use the Wumiibo Amiibo Generator you don't need to decrypt them, just paste them on Wumiibo folder on your sd cart root
