Hey a few quick quick question

I've just finished modding the 3DS and I'm looking to install all my games

Before I was able to find a site with cia files I found one with 3ds files. It was my understanding that it's pretty easy to convert these in godmode9 so I got a bunch of them

I've done me first one and that was a long process, having to convert it, plug my sd back into my computer, then moving the cia to the cia folder and then installing it will take forever so I have a few questions.

There's an option that says "install 3ds file" what does this do?

Do I need to plug my SD card back into computer or can I use godmode to go onto the gmout folder and install the cia? I did check this and it said install cia to sysnand, is this what I want?

Is there a way to select more than file and have it install multiple games?

Is there an option to have godmode convert the 3ds file into cia and then delete the 3ds file?

You'll need to use FBI to install the .cia files after converting them. Don't try to do it from within godmode. If you have multiple cias in your gm9/out folder, you should be able to install them all at once with FBI and delete them afterward.

Are you only installing games that you own physically? If so, you shouldn't need to use a PC at all, as you can use godmode to just dump your cartridges directly to a cia.

Ok Cool that makes sense.

No these are all roms I've downloaded, might just be a bit of extra effort that's all. Thank you for the help

Just download *.cia instead of *.3ds files. It makes your process much quicker that converting each and every file of the games you wish to install. And they are easy to find through Google. :D

There's always been a lack of tutorials for what you're trying to do, it's out there but it's hard to find. Godmode not recommended, some games are over 4gb and cant be fixed. Here's what you need: 3dsconv.exe (it's on github) and a file called boot9.bin (Cant link to it, google is your friend). Put both of those files in the same folder then drag n drop your .3ds file into the 3dsconv.exe file. It'll convert it automatically. Then use your micro-sd card and use the cia app to install the .cia file. All done!

There's not a direct GodMode9 option to convert and install .3ds to .cia files. You can only convert .3ds to .cia easily, then install that .cia converted file using FBI. Perharps, on future GM9 releases it could be possible, but not for now.

On the other hand (FYI), you can convert and install 3DS cart dumped games directly to the console, using this:

You got a good chance of buying a used one and asking the seller how often they used or even ask for a Pic of fw and telling them not to update

Speaking of PLaystation. I see Evilnat put out a beta for PS3 CFW 4.91.2 on the 22nd.

Don't really see the point in updating it tbh

Yea you right, I thought about updating my PS3 CFW to 4.91, but why really, everything plays fine now. I guess for people that have already updated past 4.9 it would be helpful.
