I put the game settings in the config.ini file but when I open the games (tesla-overlay), it does not call these settings. They are all blank, for me to set, not taking advantage of what is in the file. Did I get this functionality wrong?

Update: nevermind.. fixed

So. I noticed a problem with couple of games. Doom and Wolfenstein youngblood to be exact. My sys-clk drops clocks. I have 614 set on gpu, but status monitor says it's 307, 384, 460 every now and then. And games start to lag constantly. Sometimes it's unplayable. But I noticed it only in these games. Others seem to be fine

Would it be possible to have a slightly more clocked version of the gpu in handheld mode? There are some games that I believe 614mhz would be enough to run in docked mode.

Thanks!

Rylen101 compiled a version without the limiter, I guess you could send a PM and request the file.I think that post is ~ 3 pages back?

That said, the limit is there for a reason. It'll put extra drain and strain on your battery. But if you don't care about degrading your battery, go for it.

Instead, I'd suggest getting a PD (Power Delivery) USB-C battery pack. Like the Anker one that was licensed by nintendo. I have the non-licensed version and it lets me overclock as if I'm plugged into the wall outlet.

Thanks for your help!!
I sent him a PM.

I am grateful for the PD suggestion too! I was looking for one that would serve that purpose.

If you have a moment, would you mind linking to one (or both) of these? Did some searching but didn't find anything definitive. Thanks!

This is the one I personally use, Anker Powercore 20000 PD. But Mine didn't come with a wall charger, so I use the Switch wall charger for it.

I looked for the Nintendo licensed version, but it seems they took them off their site? It had exactly the same specs, but with a Switch logo on it. Here's an old article about the 2 packs.

Any of their other powerbanks with "PD" should work fine for the switch. IIRC the switch pulls 18W max, so even something like this should work. Though i'm not sure if that 18W limit is still true while overclocking.

EDIT: Just saw this on the last link's page. "-Will charge Nintendo Switch but does not support "Charge-and-Play" in TV mode." I never even thought to try using my battery to power the dock, but this makes it sound like it would work! Still nervous to try it lol.

Hello, thanks for this useful tool : i used the last version on Sx os with overlay.

I have a question about this note "GPU (capped at 460MHz without a charger, clocks up to 768MHz require a charger, clocks higher than 768MHz require the official charger"

It means despite i set more than 460mhz it's capped at 460Mhz...As the docked mode mush to 768Mhz, is there a way to have this frequencie in Handled mode ? If yes did someone has noticed a huge performance uprise ? And what about battery & risk ? I would like to have some feedbacks.

Thanks
Regards,

How do you make profiles on this for individual roms in retroarch without having to toggle or change numbers when starting them up?

Getting a strange error:

ASSERT_RESULT_OK: ipcServerInit
RC: [0x815] 0021-0004
in /builds/Switch/sys-clk/sysmodule/src/ipc_service.cpp:24

Is there a limit to how many entries are allowed?
