hmmm yeah after running the batch file, it only produces 125 out of the 198 wav files.... not sure whats going on there... will try reripping the cd 2 later today and see if that fixes it...

Edit: okay so after converting the wav, I needed to copy them back to the original audio folder overwriting the originals then copy that folder, got it.

Edit 2, got ingame but no audio and under setting it says no audio hardware.... I give up on this for now, maybe in the future I'll try it again but for now its just not werking for me...

I got "no audio hardware" with mine when I had some sound files missing - fixed it now - you should have all the uncompressed .wav files, mp3s, a .sdt and a .raw file in there

This is an absolutely awesome port... runs great.. can't believe what we're seeing with homebrew at the minute!

It works. But the sound doesn't work. And i patched the .wav files. Is there a fix?

I had the same issue of 'no audio hardware' then found missed two files in the copy across sfx.RAW and sfx.SDT, copied those then all good and had OpenAl Soft showing with SFX and music. Hence steps for me were:

1. Convert the audio, did this via the command prompt in the audio folder on PC.
2. Copied all the files in the main audio folder except .wav so should be *.mp3, sfx.RAW & sfx.SDT
3. Then copy the *.wav files from the converted subfolder

At least for me I've ended up with 197 files in the 'audio' folder on my switch SD card.

Yup that fixed it, I had been messing around with it after being up for like 24 hours straight and the whole audio folder was throwing me for a loop, works great now, a couple stutters but If I get sysclk reinstalled and overclock it I bet it would be perfect.

hey im new to homebrewing the switch and i need some help, when i run the convert audio batch file it either dose nothing or makes a new folder with nothing in it any help?

Here's the latest build (24.09.2020) with "Version 1.0" text removed
is this v1.1 patched or v1.0.. regardless, this file breaks transitions between certain missions and cutscenes
went back to stock v1.0 for now, since I never had crashes with default framelimitter anyway

confirmed.. v1.1 from GitHub works.. so something with this patch breaks it I guess

I’ve tested the game for 20 minutes and my first impressions;

At first boot up it converted textures and it took a little bit time.

After dropping Misty I’ve decided to do some taxi missions and done 8 fares in a row. I was going to the safehouse to save and suddenly my car and other cars started making the horn sound even if you’re not in front of them.

This was the first bug I’ve encountered. Also some options are missing it’s name maybe it’s a fault of my GTA III files, don’t know.

Other than that aiming was not auto and Gas/brake buttons was A and X. Changed them myself.

Can’t believe I played GTA III on my switch today. Thanks!

Only bug I've come across so far is not being able to open the garage at the first safe house after storing a car in it, but that could be a bug in the game itself, cause I dimly remember that happening on the pc years ago... still annoying though
