After approximately eight years in the making, another unauthorized fangame which had became too popular has been noticed by Nintendo, who was then forced on 2020-9-21 to submit a debatable DMCA claim (intended to be used against copyright violations) to actually defend their trademarks.

But at the center of the debate is not just any game mod or imitation, but rather a pornographic parody of the Super Mario series created by Ivan Aedler, called Mario is Missing: Peach's Untold Tale.
Astute readers may have noticed that the first half of the name is in fact the name of a licensed Mario game, followed by that of a major character of the series, giving Nintendo a legitimate reason to complain against this Flash game despite having flagrantly abused an inappropriate instrument to do that.

For people wanting to find a copy of the game, it seems to still be fairly available at the time of writing in both SWF and Windows EXE versions; the final release is then version 3.48, which in the latter format is 53055271 bytes large and has a SHA-1 of AB0FA013436603AA6A289631AF3408B0CCF68AEC.

The creator plans to continue development of the game after replacing the offending intellectual property.

Wait, Nintendo only takes down fan games for projects they’re working on, HOLY COW YES FINALLY THANK YOU NINTENDO
I know you're joking
but I am so glad that is false
because the mere idea of anything like this officially is just... wrong

Some fans go too far with kinky stuff like this, but rather they spend their time on this than something much worse. If they do cross that line, then jail is their home.
