Gaming Do we know if Super Mario 3D all stars is run through an emulator?

They are emulated and people are experimenting with other GCM files. Seems one user has the original Luigi Mansion running this way.

Original message:

Luigi's Mansion seems to boot and work with swapped .gcm (First 5 minutes anyway!)
Oh dear.. there goes my whole day..
Edit: The first cutscene didn't play at all. I'm guessing it's something to do with hagi.config?
Didn't touch the rom.json or hashes at all and seems to work right out of the box?

Yeah they are running on an emulator however the games aren't the exact same ones from wii, gamecube and n64. I'm pretty sure the Mario 64 is the updated Japanese version but just translated

could you please explain me why, as the Super Mario 3D use emulator (far as i know)

1. the rom is validated by some kinf of hash
2. lua is used to change textures from the orignal rom to textures for switch (like gamepad buttons and the like)

Thanks, now it's more clear to me,

So it's not a complete emulator :( , pity Wii U have lot of interesting game i will be happy to play in my switch
