3D World is simply one of the best games on the Wii U and in my opinion the most fun Mario Co-Op ever made, I think a port would be great as more people could play the game.
What I'm really upset about is the price, I don't think a simple port should cost $ 60, after all, we're talking about a game that is ready, they just ported from one platform to another, and besides, it's a game of 2014.
They could at least add this game to the collection or charge $ 40, but no... they will launch at full price and will not even give any discount to those who bought the game on Wii U (and will probably remove it from the eShop. )

Also, was anything I said in that snippet actually incorrect? In Galaxy, Rosalina does indeed just stand in that one spot for the entire game - except for the ending cutscene, where she's now standing in a void. Yaaaaay.
Galaxy 2 - she stands on the final platform, after beating the hardest (and last) level in the game, before then moving to the Faceship. Where she then proceeds to stand in one spot. No surprise there. Oh, she's also in the ending cutscene, but that's just to retrieve her Luma - again doing nothing to help Mario or Luigi.
Then she's somehow allowed to be a playable character in 3D World, despite having zero personality or relevance outside of an optional "storybook" sequence in Galaxy. Err, no. That's not how things should work. Awful character.

and yes, i agree, and i did state this before the switch even came out, the switch lacks the promised better 3rd party support, its yet again another port whore from past generations and sorry, if you think all this indy crap is better support, fuck me i get this crap free on my mobile.
