I too also have a complete save however since nintendo used a PAL ISO for 3d All Stars and because of the way GameCube memory cards work it has to be a PAL save in addition to being converted to 3D All-Stars weird memory card format.

I haven't looked too much in memory cards fornats but I'm hoping whatever nintendo did isnt super picky about region stuff

Glad to see it works on a actual gamecube. Did you want me to send the galaxy save files at all? The complete save i do have does have a Mii as its profile and im not exactly sure where it stores the profile "head". I would have changed to Mario but i dont have a Wii on me ATM plus dolphin doesn't want to work for me.

The wii save has a mii profile and has both mario and luigi 100% complete with 240 stars and I believe 9999 starbits. It should reset to mario automatically once loaded on a wii since the mii doesn't exist on the console.
The switch save has 1 star only obtained from gateway galaxy and has a mario profile. The terrace is unlocked and good egg has not been completed yet.

I would love to put my Sunshine save into the Switch, I haven't beaten that game yet, so if I can transfer between consoles on any moment it would be really nice.

actually, I think there's 242 iirc. 101 as Mario; 101 as Luigi. I'd have to look my save. I have all stars in it. I erased it (backed it up) to try to fix the galaxy save. I see what they're saying as I corrupted it several times trying to fix it. the offsets have been offshifted slightly by a few bytes.
I have 120 star save in sunshine as well. I deleted it trying to fix the save for 3d all stars. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I hex edited a save (might've been the complete one from gamefaqs) into a memory card image. it worked with 120 shines in one save, 3 in another, and no save in the last slot.
I think the galaxy save may work if we can figure it out. I think the wii and switch saves are the same size. it can be installed through save manager gx, since the save is a non compressed save with no banner, but it seems to corrupt the save afterwards.
Yes that is indeed what the save reports as in dolphin as far as sunshine is concerned. and galaxy saves are 48kb across both systems. I'm hoping that both can be figured out and uploaded soon. Also I forgot about that 1 star at peaches castle.
