if you have cbhc installed then dont format without uninstalling cbhc first or you will brick the wiiu.
I have normal Haxchi, for me personally i dont need a coldboot. It all worked out though, I just used a USB Loader GX forwarder instead, it doesnt give me a black screen so I just load nintendont from there no prob. Do you happen to know how I can make Nintendont widescreen? Whenever I set it in settings it doesn't save. Thanks

if you use usbloadergx to start gc games it has its own nintendont settings to choose there afaik.

for fullscreen you need to set to yes wiiu widescreen option, for real widescreen you need wiiu widescreen plus forced widescreen.

not all games are compatible with forced widescreen tough but all are compatible with stretched 4:3 mode of wiiu widescreen.

Not sure about nkit but it can’t use wbfs.

Edit: According to the NKit wiki Nintendont should be able to use NKit ISOs just make sure they are named game.iso.
Nintendon't does support Nkit although I have a few games that are smaller than what they are when I convert them to Nkit the converter tool is weird

I managed to get an nKit Gamecube game working, but what about Wii games over 4gb like Metroid Prime Trilogy? FAT32 doesnt transfer any files over 4gb so how would that work out?

games that large are transferred as wbfs and wbf1 (second part). like this:

So you CAN use wbfs? The guy a couple replies away said it wasn't possible with Nintendont. Good to know, since I have a disc of Metroid Prime Trilogy, but want to use a backup for convenience, and the website I'm getting it from only has wbfs.

Nintendont only runs GameCube games which are only 1.36GB. It cannot run Wii games.

I didn't think you were talking about nintendont. I thought your post was off topic. wbfs doesn't work with nintendont. use usb loader gx. mini dvds are only around 1.4GBs in size, so you'll never have a 4GB+ game. speaking of which, my favorite video game is mega man, and due to the size of a mini dvd, mega man anniversary collection doesn't have remixed songs unlike playstation and xbox.

nintendont only reads gc games so it doesnt matter... also usbloader gx and such can play splitted wii isos just fine.

why would you think nintendont would run wii games in the first place? when its a gc loader...?

I actually do have usb loader gx, thats how I'm using nintendont on the wii u. How would I run wbfs games off of it? Should I just make a folder called wbfs on the root of my sd card/usb drive?

Is there a plan to support multiple hard drives? SD cards aren't large enough and I can't use injection because I'll go over the 300 icon Wii U limit. It's pretty annoying to unplug my Wii U HDD every time I want to play a Gamecube game. Is there a workaround, even if it breaks other homebrew? I don't use anything but Wii U and USB Loader GX+Nintendont anyway. Thanks in advance!

I would rather not spend $100 on a 512gb SD card just for Gamecube games, and I do use my Wii U, as I stated. I'll just swap it to an external with a power button, and keep the Wii U drive turned off unless I'm playing a Wii U game. Pretty disappointing there isn't a way to make this work, but I'm thankful for the developer even creating Nintendont to begin with, so it is what it is *shrug*
