Has anyone tried one of those Chinese knock offs that look exactly like a Wii U Pro controller but without the Wii U logo? I Have one but it's not recognized and doesn't show up in the btdb app.
You could try logging the pairing process with this debug build and posting the results. I had another user with a PowerA WiiU Pro Controller that wasn't showing up either, even in the log. So it's not completely out of the realm of possibilities that there are some controllers that just aren't compatible with the Switch Bluetooth hardware.Has anyone tried one of those Chinese knock offs that look exactly like a Wii U Pro controller but without the Wii U logo? Hmm interesting. I'll have to check it out myself once I get a copy of 3D Allstars. Do you notice it in any other games?hm... I'll try
f.e. If I play Mario64 (3D Allstars) and I'm playing with the PS4 Controller in tabletop mode. If i get hit or something, the joycons mounted to the console are vibrating.
Didn't tried it in Dock by now (just updating some hb) but if you don't know the issue if the console is docked, it is possibly a "Tabletop-Issue"?
Sounds a bit like it. Maybe someone else with the game can confirm.just tested:
Mario Kart 8, NSMB, Mario Odyssey and Zelda BotW are fine. I could test more, but atm I think it's an issue with 3D AllStars
me again.
tried it on 2 other switches, both 10.1.0 AMS 0.14.3: Same result
Then I thought it would be a good idea to update my NSW to 10.2.0 AMS 0.14.4.
It doesn't rumble anymore, but I have massiv input lags with all controllers if the switch is docked. In Tabletop everythings fine, but docked you can't even play Mario Bros or Mario Kart without a realy hard handicap.
--------Edit-----------
Just unpaired all controller and paired them again.
now its working fine on 10.2.0 AMS 0.14.4
I plan to try and add keyboard and mouse support eventually. The ones I have at home use Bluetooth LE though, which I haven't figured out yet.
Yep, same thing happens to me.Is it just me, or is MissionControl the reason that Hades keeps freezing before launching? I deleted MissionControl from my switch and the game launched after that.
Not sure this would work like you are expecting. There are hints of the switch having support for mouse and keyboard functions but I don't know if they can be made to work. I would most likely map the two to a pro controllerAwesome, that would be excellent. I want to be able to use my switch as a word processor without having to run linux or android.
Can you give any further info? Does this happen with any other games? Is it just me, or is MissionControl the reason that Hades keeps freezing before launching? I deleted MissionControl from my switch and the game launched after that.
Which ipega pad do you have? I've been told some work and some don't. I think the way different pads map the home button might changeAnyone managed to make the HOME button from Ipega pads work as the Home function from Switch?
This happens with Hades too or some other game?Yep, same thing happens to me.
My setup is:
Firmware 10.2.0
Atmosphere v0.14.4
MissionControl v0.2.1
so I deleted MissionControl for the time being and will add it again when there's a new update.
Maybe Fate/Extella Link too. I can't run that game with mission control. However I haven't tried without. Still on 0.1.0 release and AMS 14.2.Not sure this would work like you are expecting. Same setup as bbert, I had to delete MissionControl as well to get Hades working. It's the only game that I've tried with MissionControl installed that didn't launch. Not sure this would work like you are expecting. On the Nintendo loading screen? I just tried it and it looked like it froze. I hit home on the joycon and after a few seconds it loaded ingame and all seems fine.just Hades. Freezes the moment the game start. everything else is working fine.
Yeah sorry I'm talking about Hades. The first screen shows the switch logo in the bottom right while loading. Is this where it freezes?Just Hades. Freezes the moment the game start.
Everything else is working fine.
