Try a more demanding game, like Twilight Princess or Wind Waker. To find out if you don't have the lag that Dolphin produces with those games.Luigi's Mansion seems to boot and work with swapped .gcm (First 5 minutes anyway!)
Oh dear.. there goes my whole day..
Edit: The first cutscene didn't play at all. I'm guessing it's something to do with hagi.config?
Didn't touch the rom.json or hashes at all and seems to work right out of the box?
The closest thing is EMUNANDI really hope there will be an easy way to not hack your Switch but being able to load other GCM files :-)
Don't dream so loud, they are port of WII U, not emulators, just like Pikmin 3.
I'm sure whatever way it gets used, the top men will make it as painless as possible.
From the little bit that i've seen, it SEEMS like it could be easy enough. Just gotta work out some kinks.

Someone is talking about this stuff on Twitch right now, but I cannot understand them due to them speaking spanish. Maybe someone who speaks english and spanish would be as kind as to do a translation with major notes?
But I have to install something to run emunand right? The closest thing is EMUNAND
EDIT: Also, this will use LayeredFS to load other ROMS. So it will not modify your NAND. If you have the original game, you have a very low chance of being banned.
I don´t think them using emulators is such a bad thing in the big picture. It is probably the first stage to bring a lot of older games to a "virtual console" like service now they got the emulators in place.
I think what it does is basically dynarec, but already compiled and ready to go, so it would not have to do it at runtime, effectively saving a lot of CPU for the remaining stuff like GPU and sound emulation."Galaxy in particular is really interesting. It appears they recompiled the original code to run natively on the Switch CPU, but everything else (GPU/Audio) is running in the emulator. Interesting trick!"
Isn't that the definition of a port though? How is that emulation?
I have never created or used Emunand. I would like to help you, in fact I tried to write something to explain you, but I realized that I don't know where EMUNAND runs the CFW atmosphere and the modifications to load the ROM from LayeredFS. Suddenly it does the same as CFW in SysNAND (Internal memory), from the MicroSD, but I am not sure. But I have to install something to run emunand right?
EMULATOR: COMPILATION OF THE ORIGINAL GAME (ROM) EMULATING THE SYSTEM WHERE IT WAS COMPILED INTO A NEW HARDWARE.
PORT: NATIVELY COMPILED VIDEO GAME ON NEW HARDWARE.
REMASTERED: NATIVELY COMPILED VIDEO GAME ON NEW HARDWARE IMPROVEMENTS
REMAKE: A NEW VIDEO GAME THOUGHT ON THE NEW HARDWARE
The Luigi's Mansion guy (sevarg) clearly trolled. He made that claim without delivering any proof (images or videos) and then went to work / sleep - to come back to a shitload of likes and replies. I would love to be proven wrong in this case.Alright, I've been messing around with some stuff and decided to put a ttyd rom named Super_Mario_Sunshine_Stardust-trimmed.gcm into the romfs/MarioSunshine folder. Nothing changed on my end. I know some people have got other games to boot (like Luigi's Mansion) does anyone know how?
porting and emulation are two very different things. That was obvious from the start, do you really think their going to waste time to make it look like they were working on it from scratch. Isn’t almost every port of any game emulated by a emulator.
