I use a cheat that automatically makes all of my turnips 1 billion in price live while people are on my Island. Most all the hackers in Facebook groups and discord servers are playing online with their games and cheats
I'm still on the fence about going online with cfw... Not sure if I want to risk my pristine condition unpatched Switch.
Yeah well all Nintendo switches can be hacked now so it's whatever ^~^ if you want to be 100% safe that is totally 100% up to you but it is an option. I have been going online for just over two years on my custom firmware
I'm guessing Incognito. ModzvilleUSA has a good tutorial on how to do that.
Also SkyQueen are you just using CFW for ACNHPoker or are you using NHSE. or what?
Edit - because I visit friends all of the time using ACNHPoker/CFW with no issues. I don't have Incognito but I'm wanting to get it maybe if I start using EdiZon.

You're safe - As long as you're not using NHSE/EdiZon you shouldn't get banned. It's interacting with your wifi connection not really with the nintendo servers at all.
99.9% safe using acnhpoker on cfw.
Yes, I've also been trying to connect online with cfw for a while but I can't start the session either, from what I've read, you have to have the modified console without anything installed, nsp, etc, and play with the legally acquired games, that's right as I think you can ...

I only have acnh installled and some programs like jksv and so on, i will try some stuff, i have a legal switch anyways, worst my hacked switch got banned, but i dont log to nintendo servers with it
But could i log to download animal crossing online,mor better get the game

I also have 2 switches, one ofw and another cfw, the cfw was not banned, but I just checked that it is already, they banned it, so what I'm trying now is to get a switch with ofw, to put cfw and do not install anything, and only use original games, any other way you run a high risk of ban,
It was my fault because I tried to connect online a few times and I had a lot of games installed in nsp format, I should have informed myself before trying all that ...

ACNHPoker and EdiZon do the exact same thing: RAM hack in real time and modify the heap. Saying one is safer than the other doesn't make a lot of sense. It's the same principle.
I'll admit I've visited over 300 islands using CFW/ACNHPoker on their islands and even mine. I do not open/play any other games except Animal Crossing New Horizons when using cfw. No ban/No Issues. I don't have any other games I'd like to cheat on so just a heads up thats my story.
I just don't pirate anything. Don't use 90DNS and don't use incognito and on sysnand. I use specifically Tesla Overlay codes online sometimes NHSE

Are some edizon cheats more or less detectable than others, or are they all the same? I've only ever used NHSE.

To enter RCM Mode? Grab a $5 RCM jig off eBay to enter recovery mode. ?
it’s the safest way in my opinion versus soldering.
