I'm not into cola or any soda really anymore, but used to be and couldn't believe how much better Mexican Coke with real sugar is once I finally had it. Much cleaner tasting and doesn't have the throat burning sensation like the American garbage with HFCS. It did make me feel cheated and would prefer to drink none of it now.

I have posted about this before but I will do it again.

A few years ago on a tv show here they did a test with the public where they had Coke in one glass and freeway cola in the other. Just for reference a 2 liter bottle of Coke costs £2.80 and you can buy 6 Bottles of Freeway cola for the same price. Basically its cheep shit lol. So the people were not told what glass had the coke and what glass had Freeway and at the end 98% of people said that the glass that had freeway was the tastiest and they said that must be the Coke. And the one that actually was coke they said tasted disgusting. Just goes to show how your brain can be easily fooled.

They invented diet versions for a reason after all. Replace sugar with artificial sweeteners and increase cancer potential. I'm glad the stevia fad is over.

This was the worst soft drink ever. Coke spent millions on advertising the bloody thing here in Scotland then cancelled it 3 months later because nobody brought it and it tasted bloody awful.

Edit just checked apparently this shit is still on sale in other parts of the world.

Brown sugar

Sangria Señorial is made with grapes (and it contains alcohol) and that sounds like wine.

Its fairly simple.

Put some fruit in a jar (use whatever fruit you want)

Fill half of the jar with Tempranillo or Garnacha.

Then fill about a quarter of the jar with fresh orange juice.

Fill the rest of the jar with Brandy or Rum. (I prefer brandy)

Add 6 to 8 large spoonfuls of brown sugar and stir with a spoon.

Place jar in the fridge for a few hours. Then add as much ice as you can and pour into a glass and get drunk lol.
