I mean, this has a mobile version, so it definitely won't take that much work to port it to Switch. That said, this is a "freemium" game, and on top of that, it looks like it requires a NSO subscription to play (per the trailer @ScarletDreamz posted), so those are two potentially big turn-offs for a lot of people.

From what I've heard, the PS4 version plays like garbage (like half the framerate) compared to the iOS and Android version. The theory is that since miHoYo (the developers) have only ever made mobile games, console development is completely new to them. Considering that the Switch hardware isn't that different from an Android tablet, my hope is that the Switch version isn't to far off, and based on the current state of things, I wouldn't be surprised if it played better than the PS4 version.

I know a lot of people were hating on this because it looks like a BOTW clone, but I'm kind of looking forward to it. I hope the PC release is stable.

I was in the final closed beta. The game is AMAZING, even with a GT 620 GPU (although the input lag with Xinput controllers was pretty high at that point; hopefully it is fixed for the main release).

Seriously, get the game. It can be played fully F2P (microtransactions weren't available for anywhere except CHN region during the closed beta, and I got a pretty solid character lineup without paying a dime), and the gameplay feels original.

From what I heard about this game, the gacha aspect is absolutely shit show. The rate is as low as GFO which already infamous for they absolutely horrible rate (like people pay thousand of dollars and didn't get the .jpg they want) and they mixed item and weapon in the same pool with character as well. The game is also rumor to be very anti rerollling with the gacha lock behind hour of gameplay. So tough luck if the character you want to play is locked behind gacha wall. Also since weapon also lock behind gacha wall, don't expect anything fancy either. I say keep your hype as low as possible or you may disappoint with it.

There are guarantees within the gacha (like in HI3rd), so getting the desired character is almost trivial. I don't know where you've heard your rumors.

Edit: every 10 consecutive rolls gives a guaranteed 4* character or weapon, and every 50 rolls (consecutive or not) guarantees a 5* character or weapon. If you save your Primogems, getting every character is very possible.

Exactly! The game is a perfect f2p game. I,currently,got almost every single S-Rank Valkyrie and some top tier weapons/stigmata. I see a lot of people complain on youtube. I guess they want to have every single thing for free haha, but that´s not how the real world works.

Guarantee isn't anything new to gacha. I had play too many gacha game to know what behind those "guarantee". They guarantee a 5* but they never said which one. It could be the one you already got, it could be the one you don't even want. Heck, if your luck bad enough they will pity you with all weapon and no character. That why I always hate mixed gacha pool as you can't guarantee shit.

Also so far we hadn't see how much gem you can get after the honeymoon phase either or if it possible to get character without gacha or not yet so I would hold my judgment for later but so far I didn't like the way their gacha work.

How many of those S rank you got is at SS rank or higher? How many of them did you get a complete build that isn't budget? I had play Mihoyo game since GGZ, I don't need you to tell me how generous they are.

The fact this game is freemium with a gatcha system kind of turns me away. I mean, I love how the game looks and I'll probably try it but I'm skeptically to whether I'll play it for too long or not.

I remember pre-registering for this about a year ago and I'm glad that it's nearly here! I pretty much hated gacha but to be honest, I'm kinda fine with them now. Playing 6 different gacha and nothing honestly feels better than getting the one you were trying to pull for. I don't really mind playing 7 different gacha games at the same time to be honest.
