@Jate yes, if you can't set your console to 480p widescreen16:9, you can adjust the text:
go to Settings page 12
Click on Source Menu Settings --> Adjust Coverflow
Click on the top left number until you reach number 4 (the wheel menu).
Then click on the top bar arrows until you reach 'Title position'
Change the values in the center column to your liking

@Tetsuo Shima
I think I have found a bug in last Rhapsodii Shima
The background images are in png format, but in the system listings they are as jpg and the background is not displayed.
I have changed the extension of the image in the listings and it works for me.

There's no bug. The source menu ini files from the latest version (v1.3) contain no refererence to jpg files. All png's since v1.2.
If you updated from an older RS version, follow these instructions from the OP
UPDATING FROM OLDER VERSIONS
Delete these folders, before updating:
wiiflow/backgrounds/Rhapsodii Shima/
wiiflow/source_menu/Rhapsodii Shima/
wiiflow/themes_lite/Rhapsodii Shima/

Hey Tetsuo Shima

I just want to say a huge thank you for creating such a masterpiece and going out of your way to respond to my issues that I had a few weeks back regarding the magic numbers matching the ini files. If it wasn't for you I would of been stuck forever. I apologise for the late response, I had to take a full on break away from this scene as I was going insane LOL.

I'm halfway done in my library & it's looking top dollar thanks to you! Again, you uploaded the missing covers as well you're an actual legend in this entire community ILY:wub:

I had a second issue which was the ROMS not booting/loading from WiiFlow after selecting for the PS1 & N64. Big shout out to the guy who recommended WiiSXRX. Apparently that is supported in WiiFlow but it's still not working for me having installed. If you can help me fix this, I'll be 1000% complete for this entire project <3

I will be making a full showcase video on this when I've finished on my main channel, have you got a YouTube Channel at all? Let me know your socials/channel to shoutout <3

These are my exact plugins for the systems. Btw for the .dol file I copied the 'Boot.dol' file from the apps directory and placed in the plugins then renamed. As you can see I changed the root to the apps for N64 but that made no difference :unsure: It works for all the other systems either way absolutely fine, just these two that wont :cry:

Thanks for the heads up! Knowing that, I'll go ahead and forgo Jaguar (dang!) as it sounds like a fools errand anyway. However I am going to copy and paste your response into a text document for future reference, thanks again man!

Hey, sorry to be a bother again, but I was wondering if there was a way to name your boxart in such a way that it could be used as the default for a category of games instead of the blank box that is used when no artwork is found.

For instance, I have a box I mocked up for Satellaview games:

View attachment 213596

I've copied the file 40 times and renamed each to match the rom, but is there a way to tell wiiflow to use this file for satellaview instead of the default blank box? If there is, I'd like to make a default for each emulator type and fill in those ugly blanks with something that doesn't interrupt the flow of things.

Hey man, did you ever find out how to replace the default cover art? I have like 2600 NES Games with only 800 + Box art it looks fugly. I tried copying a placeholder image 2000 times naming it the alphabet with numbers using FuzzyRename but it didn't pick up any LMFAO. Surely there's a way, been trying to figure this out for ages now

Use sselph Scraper script for windows/linux.
Will download covers ( not boxcovers ) from most of your 1800 games.

For Not64 you are using the wrong argument line, as I said in my previous response.
Here's my Not64.ini
Code:
[PLUGIN]
arguments=rompath = "{device}:/{path}/{name}"
bannersound=n64/n64.ogg
consolecoverid=nintendo
covercolor=000000
coverfolder=N64
displayname=N64 (Not64)
dolfile=N64/not64.dol
filetypes=.n64|.v64|.z64|.zip
magic=4E4F3634
romdir=not64/roms
rompartition=0
The game will be auto booted, you'll only have to press the Play button to exit the menu.

For the PS1 I'm using WiiSX-R. I wasn't able to use the RX version in Wiiflow, but the author said he'll try to look into it.
WiiSX-R on the other side, works pretty good. You just have to follow these instructions:
1- The 'apps' and the 'wiisxr' folders must reside both on the SD card.
Otherwise, the emulator won't be able to memorize the settings, even if it tells you that they were saved.
2 - After you have launched the desired game, the controller won't be recognized, but there's a simple workaround: just unplug the Classic Controller from the Wiiremote, then press the + and - buttons simultaneously on the Wiimote to open the Emulator Menu, then simply plug the CC back in and click on Resume Game.
Here's my WiiSX-R.ini
Code:
[PLUGIN]
arguments={device}:/{path}|{name}
bannersound=PS1/PS1.ogg
consolecoverid=Sony
covercolor=01A300
coverfolder=psx
displayname=PlayStation (WiiSX-R)
dolfile=PS1/WiiSXR.dol
filetypes=.bin|.img|.iso|.cdi
magic=57495358
romdir=wiisxr/isos
rompartition=0

I remember that the procedure for the default missing games was changed in WFL a long time ago by Fledge, but honestly I never used them and now I can't remember how it was done.

Edit: oh I forgot, here's my YT channel

That still didn't work. I think it may be I'm using the latest version of Not64. Please may I ask what version you use?

Just as I thought things were going so smooth I've ran into ANOTHER problem which I can't seem to find the configuration files anywhere within the WiiFlow Folder. For some reason Sega Master System is showing the Super Grafx background. And within the other PC Engines the background is none existent with no default plugin selected. It says 'No Plugins Selected.' What has happened here? It also does this with the Satellaview. I know they're there & exist within:

Regarding Not64 I'm using "mupen64-20200609".
When the backgrounds and the shape of covers are wrong you are using the wrong magic numbers.
In your case, you are using the Supergrafx magic number for your Master System plugin, for some strange reason.
All the correct magic numbers are found in plaform.ini and all the source_menu ini files included with the theme are already using the correct ones. No need to change them.
Can you copy/paste your consoles.ini in wiiflow/source_menu/Rhapsodii Shima?

Yes, it's my fault sorry. Here's the error:

Wiimednafen's Master System and SGFX are using the same magic number in platform.ini.
I had it already corrected some time ago, while I was working on the plugins pack, but I forgot to update it in the theme.
Sorry for this.
To fix Master System in platform.ini change this line:
4d45474e=MASTERSYSTEM
to this:
4d454d53=MASTERSYSTEM
And use 4d454d53 in consoles.ini and in Mednafen SMS plugin .ini

You said you have a similar issue for PC-Engine and Satellaview as well. What magic numbers do you have for those plugins?

No need to apologise bro <3 Honestly man, It's been sending my head west just configuring & setting things up just for my personal use :blink: Going into your theme and realising that everything you have done was built and wrote from scratch, I couldn't even begin to imagine what It was like for you making this, it's safe to say ANYONE would of made a few mistakes :shy:

4d45474e=SGFX
I can't believe I never picked up on this! Thank you

As it stands, here's the consoles that when clicked on have no background image with 'No Plugins Selected' I never realised as I'm only getting round to these now.

BBC Micro - 4242434d
Thomson -
54484f4d=TO5
54525338=TRS80
434f434f=COCO

(I haven't got around to Retro Computers yet, not 100% sure which one is which)

PC Engine CD-ROM - 4d45454e
PC Engine Super Grafx - 4d45434d

(I noticed PC Engine also shares the same Magic Number as PC Engine CD for some reason)

Satellaview - (Cant find anywhere within the list)
Master System - 4d45474e NOW: 4d454d53 ✔

UPDATE:
Master System is now fixed following your steps, but it hasn't corrected Super Grafx for some reason as it should have its own Magic Number now I would of thought.. Im so confused :unsure:

Screw it, I'll leave the full platform ini here & delete after. Probably would be so much easier! Thank you for taking your time to help me fix these, I suppose this is great If you were ever to release an update you could patch these <3

@OfficialRammy Ok here's my updated platform.ini for everyone to use:

Download Platform.ini (last update: 20 Aug 2020)

If you get the message 'no plugins selected' it means that you either don't have the required .dol or the dol path from the plugin .ini can't be found.

Wiimednafen PCE and PCE-CD's magic numbers are similar but actually different:
4d45434e=PCENGINE
4d45454e=PCENGINECD

About the emulated computers:
BBC Micro stands for British Broadcasting Corporation Microcomputer System
TO5 stands for the "Thomson MO/TO" computer family.
TRS80 is the Tandy Radio Shack TRS80 (Black & White model)
COCO is the Tandy Radio Shack Color Computer
