Why would it be terrible? That doesn't make any sense.
this message was translated with google translation from french to english, we could translate, terrible in french is not necessarily negative.

Ok... I read everything on how to use it...

I have one question only, if anyone here can be kind enough to reply: Does this has a potential of Bricking my Wii?

I'm concerned because I just read that does some stuff with NAND.

Now this, is an amazing job in progress. Willing to see it working and ofc test it.

I'm still gathering tools/components (not much $$$ available, but still keeping up) to try and build my very own Wii Portable, this and your GC+ board will allow me to minimize the final size of my portable.

Thanks for your huge contribution to the Wii community. Best regards!

Yes it can brick your Wii and that's precisely a very good reason to be compatible only (by now) with neek2o to use it on an emulated NAND.

I have released a first beta of the hack, but it works only with neek2o. d2x support will come later.
How is the d2x support coming along? Has the leaked source code made it easier? Will it now be possible for this to also work on the sys menu without neek2o because of the leak?

Consider this: if he said yes to your question and admitted that the source code did make it easier, then his project would be c&d'd because admitting to using Nintendo's source code gives them a reason to strike down on you, and we would never see this project finished.

If you are curious about more updates he has a patreon with more updates for supporters.

Yeah eventually I will look into that as well. I should be able to release the source code for this soon so someone who's more experienced than me with the vWii might do that.

Having it on WiiU would be very nice. AFAIK that does not have Neek2o?

Gald to see that the original Wii is the main focus.

This, the GX emulator ports, and retroarch are the best things the Wii has going for it homebrew-wise. Not counting USB Loader GX and Nintendont which are also great.

Hey Aurelio. Good work, you and your teams work has been featured on Linus Tech Tips.

In future updates of BBLoader, will it allow using all 4 gamecube controller ports to emulate 4 wiimotes? Also I know you are making it for portable wii projects but is it still possible to make it to load games from DVD on a full size wii and still be able to emulate the wiimote using BBLoader?

I'm curious if this could be utilized so that the GameCube bongo controllers could properly be matched to the Wiimote controls of Donkey Kong Barrel Blast so that we can play the game in the manner it was originally intended to be played in.

Has anyone here ever attempted this with a pad / wiimote hack? I.e. A mod that connects the output of a nunchuk analog stick to the CLK, Data, 3.3v and GND pins of the Wiimote camera?

As far as I can tell, the Wiimote positioning is output like an analog joystick. It just calculates the X / Y position using the camera's onboard cpu instead of the pots on an analog stick. It's possible (or even probable) that the nunchuk outputs data using the same protocol as the remote.

I have a Wii console but I'll currently only play Wii games on the Dolphin emulator because I can't stand the remote. It would be great to be able to use my own controls on the actual Wii console.

I want to use my Ghost Squad arcade guns to play light gun games on the Wii console like I do in Dolphin:

A regular analog thumbstick probably wouldn't work well as a remote replacement. The Wiimote uses absolute positioning which would make it hard to point with a thumbstick. A positional arcade gun would be perfect though (as it allows you to aim well). A Microsoft sidewinder stick would also work well I think.

I use positional guns for Mame on my PC:
