I bought the Omega a while ago, maybe 2 years ago, works well for GBA games and is VERY hit or miss with GB/GBC roms. It will SOMETIMES save my game save, for instance, ill play pokemon Blue and maybe after 4-5 saves, it'll lose my data, and I have a similar issue with save states. They eventually be corrupted to the point that I have to start over. I gave up on using that thing to play GB/GBC roms so I bought a repro of Zelda, Oracle or Ages/Seasons (which I am enjoying) however some GBC games are near impossible to find (Shantae) or overpriced. Can i get an update on the Omega? is there a homebrew firmware out therre that has fixed these problems. I'm also looking into buying this cheap flashcart for GB/GBC games

everdrive x5. that's what I have. never had issue with saves, but it's expensive, so you have to decide for yourself if it's worth it.

I bought that star ocean gbc game (a reproduction one), and it plays just fine on my ags 101. I wanted the actual cart and instructions, but that's like over $200 last time I checked. I just got the game and box for about $30 or something.
