Rumors are swirling around about a Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch Pro. If the switch had 3rd party support it wouldn't be so bad but without it the switch is ehh just porting over old PS3 and Wii U games.

If people are into that good for them. Might as well call the switch a Wii U mini or PS3 mino lol
rumours of the switch pro exist since year 2 of the switch.. and it ended up being a switch revision with better batery life and the switch mini ... so yeah i dont think next console will be made until like 2022 or 23

Hmm I have a dilemma now. I'm working through my huge backlog of games I haven't played yet and this was next on the list. Do I go ahead and play the WiiU version or wait to October for the Switch release.
I heard the wiiu game is only good with all the dlc added to it.

I really like the pikmin games, but I don't like the time management aspect. I know it's a big part of the game, but I just want to relax and enjoy it and do everything that needs to be done.
So I played all three games with cheats to stop the time from advancing, much more enjoyable for me personally. Nice to slow down and appreciate the views, rather than rush and worry! It's still a challenge.

I think I read they are making a 4th one...? I bet re-releasing 3 is part of the plan :)
That cheat thing sounds like a good idea actually. I always had problems getting into the first two.

Took them long enough to port it.

Remember when these idiots were babbling stuff like "The Wii U will live alongside switch/3ds/whatever"?

Nah, old ports would be for gamecube games, which would be pretty amazing actually since they're insanely rare and expensive to find.
Path of Radiance / Radiant Dawn collection ... plz plz

Nintendo annouces FE games remaster for switch;
You have to buy each one separately 60/70 bucks each and only the graphics are improved.

Apparently the game will not support portable mode, Nintendo Switch Lite users will need to buy JoyCons to play the game (probably because you will have to point at the screen)

PS: In fact, the site is very scarce in terms of information, it is not possible to know for sure whether it will be necessary to have JoyCons or not.

Is there a benchmark comparison between Wii U and Switch somewhere?

They are successfull, so I can´t blame them, but they should have just made the Switch a portable Wii U with the ability to plug into a TV. Same library of games. Same peripherals (and new Wiimotes or traditional controllers with HD Rumble as an option).
I do not like numbering consoles but a "Wii 2" instead of a "Wii U" would not have been misunderstood by the general public.

This year is so weak for the Switch. For the first time ever, and I've been at this since the GB/GBA days, I am considering selling my current Nintendo portable.
I can assure you that the year hasn't been much better for PS4. Only PC has kept on rockin' at a steady pace in 2020.

So... considering Wonderful 101 also got a Switch port, what Wii U games you want to see ported next to the Switch?

You could try hacking it, if its compatible with it.

With a hacked Switch you can run emulators on it.

From Reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSw...in_3_deluxe_on_nintendo_switch_lite_requires/, some users have found out that the separate Joy-Cons requirement is only for multiplayer modes, including the story co-op feature.
The official eShop page confirms that the game supports Docked/Tabletop & HANDHELD mode.
it is likely to be a mistake on the official website that may be fixed later on.
