PlayStation Plus games for August now available

I thought COW MW 2 has been free for ps plus players since last month

Activision didn't make a CoD MW2 remastered multiplayer because they have Warzone that they want everyone to focus on instead of fracturing the userbase over multiple titles.

As to the games, Fall Guys looks nice, I'm glad they decided to push it for a PS+ title on it's release date and not 20 years later when no one was gonna be playing it anyways

I guess that makes sense. But does that mean this warzone will be the only multiplayer for a long time? I mean will it least have the maps that people liked in other games or is just the new beast that takes over for now?

Though that might also mean a major loss of income for the publishers and devs.

Edit: oh it has purchases. Then it should be free to begin with.

I mean, they're still getting paid either way, it's not like Sony just handpicks some random games and tells the publishers to fuck off without compensation. They'll get a nice lump sum from Sony that, while probably only a percentage they'd normally get, is still more than enough to justify it, along with a good amount of "free" marketing from Sony (and the thousands of news sites that talk about the games), and there's still potential purchases from the people who don't subscribe to PS+ (which accounts for 70 million of the 100 million active PSN accounts).

Really enjoying Fall Guys on PC, so I guess that's $20 I coulda saved with PS+, but in the long run I'll save more by not needing to maintain a subscription to play it.

I had a lot of fun with the Fall Guys beta on PC. Glad I get it included with PS Plus so I can jump back in. Off to DL now.
