Thanks, confirmed working on my end with 0.14.1.

Off-topic: I also took the chance to test Daybreak and updated from 10.0.4 to 10.1.0, no issues after updating with it as well.

Does Daybreak use the same files that Choi used? Does it also let you choose between FAT32 installation and exFAT, or does it always default to exFAT?

It needs some files to be named differently but if you download your firmware files from that "darth site" they are already named correctly (just re-download to be sure, they are changed recently on the website).

Yes it let you choose if you want fat32 or fat32+exfat drivers before installation, it also asks if you want to factory reset.

It's not easy to understand the progress without proper date.

Previously, there were two fs patches from April, are they for 10.0.x & 10.1.0?
(3EEBD9B7BCD1B5E0BCC2007D6514F7A4845A1F42AAD795573FD2865DADE1C5E0)
(817EA2B0B702C1F37EC5E0A7A61F745440422037DAA3537CEF4E856C40273F78)

After that, there was a single fs patch from May, what is that patch for?
(DE9FDDA4085DD5FE68DCB20B41095BB4010856AF280201552F38273B44CECD6F)

Thanks.

What would be the difference between picking the fat32+exfat and fat32? If my SD is fat32 which one do I pick?
In choi if you pick exfat while being on fat32, it can brick the Switch. If you select the wrong format on Daybreak, does it have severe repercussions too??

You should choose fat32+exfat. And I don't know where you heard that if you pick exfat in choi while on a fat32 SD it can brick your system. That's incredibly untrue.

That doesn't sound like a sigpatch issue. Have you checked if other games work?

Yes other games work....for some reason animal crossing refuses to boot if I get past the Nintendo screen it then just gets stuck on the loading screen with the island on the bottom right corner...

Seems like main titles dont work...Cant get BOTW to boot or Super Smash Bros

So if my SD card is fat32, I should pick fat32+exfat. Not fat32. Why? Is the fat32 option less beneficial than the fat32+exfat?
I ended up bricking my Switch when I was downgrading it, months ago. Wasn't sure what did it, me picking exfat instead of fat32?! Or something else. Bunch of people here verified it, saying its because I picked exfat when my SD was fat32.

In the past, the fs patches were always twins for fat32 & exfat.
What is this single fs patch in the release?
(DE9FDDA4085DD5FE68DCB20B41095BB4010856AF280201552F38273B44CECD6F)

The kids tested the new loader patch in 10.0.2/AMS 0.14.1 file based emuMMC & works. Thanks.

Fat32+exfat supports both file systems as the name implies, and supports larger sd cards. And whoever here told you picking exfat bricked your system is absolutely wrong, it did not.

I always picked the exfat option in choi with my fat32 card and never had any issues. I also picked the fat32+exfat in Daybreak and no issues as well.

I'm pretty sure your issue was something else (maybe bad FW files?).

As Ibcap said you should pick the fat32+exfat option since it will give support for both formats, there is no reason to no pick it up to be honest.

I'm having the exact same issue as you.

I also tried using Hekate (with the other sigpatches) and tried fixing the archive with Hekate. But I cant get ACNH to run with either Hekate or Atmos. Its always stuck on the Switch Icon in the bottom right corner and all I can do is hold down the power button for 12 secs.

Other games like Story of Seasons work.

Anyone got an idea on how to fix that?

Hi, after installing Atmosphere 0.14.1 and the sigpatches I get "Failed to apply 'noldrchk'! on Hekate after launching Atmosphere FSS0 EmuMMC. I even get 'Failed to launch HOS!' when pressing the VOL button on this error screen. Does anybody have any idea on how I might fix it? Thanks.

The only way I managed to fix it was to do a clean install of Horizon and AMS and its now working....bit overkill but it works...you could also try removing any sys-modules you have installed like Edizon overlay etc

Yep a clean AMS Install and the removal of the sys-modules did the trick. ACNH boots up again.

Thanks!

EDIT: I think the Emuiibo Folder messed things up. (in atmosphere/contents/0100000000000352)

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
