My problem is I play Wii everywhere ! I play at home on my hacked Wii, I play at my college on the student's association's hacked Wii, and when I travel I would like to play on Dolphin. Actually I carry with me my usb hard disk with my iso and my save files. I have to continuously dump/restore the save files to restore my games states accross devices. This process is time consuming and inefficient.

So is there a way to <save to / load from> usb emuNand with usbLoader GX (or another loader) and use it accross Wiis and on dolphin ? (therefore avoiding to continuously dump/restore, as the Nand as become portable)

I remember seeing this same question a few weeks ago, and if there is no responses at all well.... in the way you want to do it don't exist at least from any loader on Wii, maybe in dolphin isshiruka exists a way to do it but i can't be sure.

Well, I'm still working on the subject but I think it could be possible with an emunand. Dolphin can use emunand dumped from a real wii, and those emunand seemed unencrypt so they could eventually work accross wii on usb loader.
I might write a blog entry about it when I'm done

Did you ever get around to writing that blog entry? I was looking around to see if anyone else got a setup like this working, but I managed to (seemingly) get it working myself. I already had neek2o emunand set up on my wii's hdd and used that to store the saves. Changed usb loader gx and wiiflow path settings to save on the emunand, setting called "NAND Emu Save": I set it to partial, and pointed dolphin's nand path to that emuand. I even installed portable dolphin onto that hdd so I could use this on any pc.

So far with a little testing I think it works great! Play a game on either wii or pc, save it, and bring it all with you on the hdd. Now I'm trying to see if I can accomplish the same thing with gamecube games but I can't figure out how to make dolphin use the same .raw mem cards ( there's a mem card for each region) that nintendont makes. I heard dolphin might even corrupt nintendont cards? idk. I guess I'll keep importing/exporting those.

No I finally give up after not succesfully playing my emunand on another wii than mine. I struggle too much with neek2o settings and end up rolling back to normal nand while having all my homebrew on my hdd disk.
The most important feature for me was, after all, portable homebrew and roms.
But nice to hear you've done it :)
