Sorry, may be posted earlier by someone, but the cheat "Weapon durability" still makes my game crash on Paper Mario The Origami King. Could someone help me?
I read that unloading my inventiry (just having a pair of boots and a hammer apart from the basic ones) could help, but still crashing.

To fix the issue I just reduced the amount of weapons I had to only what I needed and that seemed to fix it.

Hi, I reduced the amount of weapons and still crashing. I just have legendary boots and legendary hammer so as the basic ones of each, but still crashing with that cheat loaded.

Hi, I reduced the amount of weapons and still crashing. I just have legendary boots and legendary hammer so as the basic ones of each, but still crashing with that cheat loaded.

Does the crashing occur when picking up hearts? Try to make sure thats the actual cause of the crashing. I heard some cheats I never used like escape rate also cause crashing.

You can also use an activator on the cheat so its only active when you need it. I dont have the game currently installed but iirc the cheat should look like this.

That should make it so whenever you press A the durability resets (which you press to select the weapon so you will never have to worry) and it disables as soon as you let go. Just as long as you are not holding or pressing A the exact moment you collect a heart you should be good.

Thats the best I can offer, it wasnt my code, its just what I could do to make it functional.

Actually it happens every time i restore my life with hearts, mushrooms or sitting on a bench (except when it increases and restores by picking the special hearts).

No that sounds about right I remember it crashing on benches too. Yeah, this worked for me but I cant explain it, I just was the first to notice it. Worst case just turn it on when you need it and use this cheat.

I just found that the exp is on the cc.save file as well. You can edit the value, go back to the game and the amount typed will be granted after defeating an enemy.

Alright well these are the codes for the last patch that I linked to. Though these are mine as I translated the chinese to english with google translate. one I don't know what it does. But there is a NEW update to Octopath Traveler. The only update notes are that it added korean language so hopefully all of these cheats will work with the new version as it probably didn't change much of the main code. I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY WORK, nor do I have the build ID for the new update. I'm not going to update and lose the ability to use cheats because no way to downgrade. But if someone does have octopath fully updated and can try these out, especially the GP and battle cheats and see if they work, that would be much appreciated.
