Cities Skylines may not be made by EA but it has the same EA problem of being quite bare bones without all the DLC packages. Playable, but far from great without those upgrades. At least give us the Mayor's Edition, not the absolute bare minimum. I have almost all the DLC (missing the latest ones for a distinct 'no money' situation) and trust me, the game suffers without them. All simulator games do, that's how they get you, same as giving away Sims 4 a while back. Even on sale 50% off those DLCs are a rip-off.

Someone on Facebook was trying to convince me that Farming Simulator is cool and in the top 20 on Steam, but I don't care even if that's true. For a start, there's already free farming games on PS4. Second, Stardew Valley is a thing. Third, these kind of games only ever have a niche audience, I'm sure someone will have frosted their shorts over this announcement but why alienate the vast majority of gamers who couldn't care less? It was one big meh for May.

My theory is that the Dark Souls and Dying Light rumors were true but Sony wanted to teach us a lesson for the Last of Us Part II spoilers.
