Which is why I also gave you the statistics on active accounts, though you conveniently ignored it. With good reason, XB1 didn't sell even half that number. Maybe next gen you'll get lucky and the brand you're so desperately loyal to will do better than a last place finish in the console wars. Then this might be a discussion worth having. As it stands now, PC makes every Xbox game both look better and perform better.

I also play consoles for the same reason.
I mean, I have a gaming PC quite more powerful than any of my consoles. I buy games on steam often, but in the end I don't play in the computer, even though a decade+ ago I played almost exclusively in PC.

Nowadays I see my PC and any desire to play vanishes, call it PC overworking PTSD or something. I understand the feeling. Sometimes too many features are a disadvantage, piling up stress.

Funny thing is im not even loyal to it i just realized it was the best option in a digital world, especially considering those physical games you buy are useless too without patches.

I can understand that from the perspective of someone whose job involves sitting in front of a PC all day. Beyond that though I'd say Steam is far more convenient than any console OS. Mods and the like are nice for extending the life of games that are otherwise dead on consoles, but they usually aren't necessary for newer games.

It's $500 (possibly $600) down the garbage disposal if you already have a PC capable of playing next-gen Microsoft games. If not, then yes it's a fairly good value.

TBH I might end up getting a PlayStation, but Microsoft keeps finding ways to reel me back in with Game Pass, xCloud, full backwards compatibility (which Sony definitely can't say) plus forwards compatibility for XBOX One, among other things...

Im dissapointed in both conferences. I have mixed feelings and i think i will stay with my old xbox one for at least a year. Phil as always told Us we will be blown away but in the end he has problem with showing us some gameplay... Microsoft put alot of efford in gamepass, and i really like this service but these days i wan't one quality game rather than 10 in gamepass which is a rental service...I don't have time to play all this titles. Right now im considering PS5 more because i missed alot of quality games in this generation such as Spiderman, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima and im pretty sure there will be more to miss in next generation. PS VR in new generation should be fun too.

They announced a few good ones for sure, again I just wish there was more gameplay attached to the announcements. And none of them are exclusives, not that that's necessarily a bad thing (except for sales of XBSX).

Aside from playing PS4 games at higher resolutions/with better performance, frankly all I needed to sell me on PS5 was the Demon's Souls remake. The entire Dark Souls trilogy definitely falls within my top ten action-RPGs of all time.
