I'd love a walk through walls code just to be able to upgrade the bike earlier and get the isle of armor bike. You can play the dlc very early on in the game but can't get the bike until you get the upgraded one which is almost at the end of the game.

I tried using PKHeX to just give myself the other bike but that did not work.

If you have a CFW unit just look for the DLC unlocker file and the update, can't link you source though, you have to find them on your own.

I have CFW and DLC but I had just started to play Sword when the DLC came out so was starting fresh and decided to do the DLC when I was able and was disappointed to find out I couldn't get the new bike which IMO looks a lot better. So I was hoping for a walk through walls to just walk to where you get the bike upgrade, get it, then continue on with DLC/Story as normal. With no code I went on PKHeX and manually gave myself the bike but it just loaded up default one or crashed. Tried giving myself upgraded one and then trading it in but did not work, most likely because of a flag or something else that does not trigger until you actually talk to the person. Hell I don't even know if a walk through walls code would even actually work for this but only thing I can think of. PKHeX does have the block editing function so maybe if I ever restart one of the games I'll see if I can find something there I guess.

You could access the dlc area after getting out from the wild area, so that ain't long.

Yeah the thing is you can't get the DLC bike without having the water bike from the main game, you talk to her and she just says come back later. As far as I can tell there is no way to get the water bike early, like i said using pkhex to give yourself any other bike does not work as the game does not register you as actually having it. Walk through walls cheat might work as you could go straight to the person who gives you the water bike in the base game but as there is no working cheat for that for latest version no way to know for sure.

Just play through the story I guess, ain't very long, you get the water bike after 6 badges.

That's what I did but still would be nice if there was a way to get it early. Also would be nice if a way to remove the capture requirements as well so you can go into the other areas and catch high levels. Hopefully modding some day maybe.

If 4th gen remakes come out though I probably won't ever bother wanting to replay these. Not like the story and leveling is that good.

That is how pokemon games are, older game have level obeying requirement, you need certain amount of badge for certain level pokemon to obey you.

Fully aware I've been playing since yellow. But Sw/Sh are different in that you can't even CATCH pokemon over a certain level. like right after you unlock the second part of the wild area there is a level 30 snorlax and pokemon up to level 30 obey you at this time but it won't let you catch the snorlax or basically anything else in that section of the wild area until after the next badge which is like an hour later.

Suggestion is to get to post game as early as possible.

I hear ya, the "walk through walls" cheat has many useful applications. Sadly you probably won't see one, you will get "suggestions" on how to play the game lol. One of the answers you will get is just to play though the game legitimately to get what you want, another is to make "checkpoint" saves which is laughable in a "cheats" portion of the site. Another will be to use PKHEX to mod your mons, yet "6iv Cheats" and "hatch eggs/max watts/max money/max items" codes exist, when PKHEx can also be used for that or "farming legitimately" can be done lol. Very confusing but the moral is, don't waste your time debating, you make great points but you won't get anywhere as far as persuading anyone for a code if there isn't a super high demand for it. In case you do end up coming across one, PM me, I will do the same. Cheers.

LOL! ... "I am going to use the Walk-Through Walls to access the Bicycle earlier." ... LOL!

* Bicycle Doctor Route 5 Encounter : Requires "Obtained 1st Gym Badge" Flag checked.
* Bicycle Doctor Router 9 Encounter : Requires "Rival Rematch after Gym Battle" Flag checked.

The locations on the respective Routes of the Bicycle Doctor ARE NOT blocked off. You can walk right up to those points in the game HOWEVER if you have not cleared the Event Flags then the Bicycle Doctor will not appear on the route to interact with you.

You seriously never explored Route 5 prior to the Gym Battle or Route 9 prior to the Gym Battle?

Yeah I used to use cheats for a lot of those things but have been using PKHeX for years since it's just easier to do it there. I hope we eventually get a PKSM for Switch so we can do a lot of that right on the Switch. Loved PKSM for 3DS. And for the switch you already have to be modded to use the cheats so why not just use ftpd and use pkhex.

At this point it doesn't matter what people want the "walk through walls code" for, because someone will find a reason to make it irrelevant. Don't search for one and don't put the code out and just keep it moving, stop treating people like idiots to make yourself feel better. You sound like a miserable person.

I believe it's important to ensure people asking for codes for a specific reason are fully aware they would need a SECOND cheat hunted for them for their intended use.

It's important fpr people to have reasonable expectations AND are provided the information they need so if they find a code hunter willing to help that they can ask for all the codes they need and not be disappointed.

There was a "walk through walls" code for the first and second version of sword/shield. I was able to use it to get to the island where you find ditto just seconds after getting to the wild area. It may be stupid but I could start a spanish language game and play though the first 30 mins of the game and catch legitimate dittos in another language. You can argue that you can just use PKHEx but you can use PKHEx for anything so why even bother making any codes? Why not just steer everyone toward PKHEx and say "we are no longer investing time in any code" Because everyone plays the game different and a "pokemon encounter code" or a "hatch eggs faster code" makes it more legitimate/enjoyable of an experience and not just straight up typing up your pokemon in PKHEx. My problem is when you make someone feel stupid for something they would rather do, not because they don't know any better but because that's how they play. I don't see this kind of back and forth when someone asks for a "hatch eggs faster" code. You can also be sarcastic and belittling and answer "what??? what an idiot! why do you need an egg code??? you've actually been spinning the analog stick 6 times like a moron to hatch eggs??? I hate to break it to you but have been doing this all wrong, you can just PKHEx" That logic can be applied to literally every code whether max watts or max items, some people just want the code, let them play the game however they want. Some people just enjoy a code that multiplies their watts rather than typing 999999999 on PKHEx. Hopefully no more examples are necessary here, not sure how much time is needed to find a "walk though walls" code but I thing the time you've taken to respond to how unnecessary it is may be equal to having searched for such code.

not sure how much time is needed to find a "walk though walls" code

(This is why in my opening post there's a section about code hunting 101.) Someone needs to dump the game's code so they can read it with program designed to do that. The individual will have to be able to read the computer programming language well enough to find all the code pertaining to the character's collision detection then the person needs to figure out programming code that would prevent that from working. From there, they dump their programming into another web-based tool to turn that programming code into the HEX code you see EdiZon use.

Once again, as I said previously: you may want the code but you need to convince someone to hunt it for you that see the value in the time (either there's enough demand which in this case there isn't OR you pay them real world money to hunt the code for you with each version update to Sword & Shield.) Good luck with that!

As I also mentioned in my opening thread, there's at most a few code hunters who are dedicated to Sword & Shield. This is why the amount of codes NOT rehunted for the game increases with each version update. The hunters who found value in hunting the codes did not find value rehunting the codes when the game's code changed and their cheat stopped working.

I don’t need the code, you're missing the point. Let’s move on.

Is there a code that would allow for modification of the shiny rate? Like, if you don't want to fully have the 100% shiny or base game odds? I still enjoy some element of RNG, but would like to be able to adjust it a bit. I know this is fairly niche, but pknx doesn't have the functionality currently. Thank you.

Updated the topic with the proper IVs set to 0.

The old version(s) worked but it shouldn't had implying it created a glitch which resulted in OR an error handler setting the stat to 0 IV. I originally posted my discovery of the glitch due to the importants of having both the 31's & the 0's.

However, now that we have the proper codes for setting IV's to 0 we should be using those. (I will fix the previous update versions cheat lists when I have a moment.)
