the elf file can be any encrypted file like sprx, self, or eboot.bin (which is also a self file). look at them in hex. it will say elf.

i updated to 6.72 already, there is not reason to stay at 5.05 no more. Am gonna rock as soon as the jb stable version comes out.

There are rumors on the Internet (from trustworthy devs) that there will soon be a CFW for the PS4, but only for 5.05.

So you will be at 6.72, while the others will have a real CFW on which to run anything (FW X.XX)! Why only for 5.05? It will supposedly be a reward for a loyal community that remained faithful 5.05!

of course i am happy, i am not scare my friend,i f not i can get another ps4. So far doesn't bother me.

Don't do it manually
If I'm not wrong you can just run the scripts with a specific command pointing to the right files and it should work
I mean, that's what a script is meant for, to prevent doing it manually
Tomorrow I'll try to see if I can get this thing work the right way and will eventually post a tutorial (already present if you google enough

You mean flat_z's scripts? Because those don't seem to work no matter what I do.

I think it has to be in its decrypted state.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was backported with a fake pkg updater. Working in 5.05.
But the exploit is being modified in order to achieve stability: https://github.com/DarkModderVC/PS4JB
