I just followed this guide all the way through. Using a DSTT flashcart, the forwarder just boots into a white screen.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I should add that I tried to launch Mario Kart DS as a test.

I'm really late here lol, but do these forwarder CIAs share a ID with the cartridge? So, will the Activity Log time update when playing these? Cause I really love to see how much time I spent in my pokemon games.

Well, it seems like Activity Log is working, however it's registered as a new title there. Any way to have my cartridge time updated instead of a new title? Thanks.

Where does the savefile goes?
In twm++, i'm very deep in Final Fantasy IV but forwarder has no game saves. I want to copy /nds/saves/FFIV.sav to to wherever the forwarder looks for it.
Thanks.

The forwarder also reads from "saves".

Oh never mind. I was using save slot 2 in game options so i had a *.sav2 file, forwarder uses only *.sav so it didn't work. Renamed *.sav2 to *.sav and voila!
Thanks anyway.

Hi, how to make the cia-forwarded rom use the twilight-menu settings?

I know it uses a different config since when i boot the game in twighlight, sound is good
If i boot it through forwarded-cia, the sound is garbled/distorted {specific game, `Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo: Hikari to Kage no Eiyū`}

Unfortunately, it is unknown how to fix it.

Hello!

It seems that Fowarder3-DS is only generating .nds files in the generated folder. I don't think MacOS is x86 and I'm on a MacBook Air. Also chmod +x make_cia only gets me No such file or directory in terminal soo... Got any ideas?

would it not be possible, since custom homebrew can be made, to make the game look like a ds game, that then forwards to twilight menu, but adding some sort of autoboot options so you dont see the menu, but applies settings?
I doubt it'll fix the issue, since it also occurs after resetting a game.

Works fine on a MacBook Air. Make sure you follow the instructions. Do you know how to use terminal?

Idk, there is a file called make_cia in downloads.
While I would like to help you if you are not going to take charge of this and help yourself a bit too you are going to struggle here. A lot of this stuff is confusing. But learning the absolute basics of terminal and directories would probably be much, much faster (like less than 15 minutes of Googling) than waiting for responses on this forum.

When you open terminal, what directory are you in? My guess is your home directory. You can check by typing in “pwd” and pressing enter.
You need to be in the same directory as make_cia or else you need to specify the file location when you type in chmod. you can change directories by typing in “cd” and the name of the directory. On a mac, if you are in your home directory, you would type in “cd Downloads” to get to the downloads directory. You would then type in “ls” to list the contents of the directory. If you see make_cia you are in the right spot. If you don’t see make_cia then you need to type in “cd” again type in the correct location. If the correct location is a sub-directory (a folder inside of Downloads) then you would type “cd” and the name of the sub-directory.

Whenever i try and run the jar file i get invalid or corrupt jar file Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling java, every javafx link i find is confusing as heck.. Anyone with experience in this would be much appriecated.... nvm i think i found the right java fx, im not getting the same error when i click to open.
**EDIT: got it to work, if ypur having issues finding the right javafx i searched 'how to install javafx on windows'
and that steered me in the right direction.
Important read the post about run.bat file on the 4th step that got it to run for me as well :)
Very happy with the results THANKS Rob & Twiilight Team!
