We haven't merged the two patches yet. Also, don't apply the Mato patch, that will completely break Mother 2.

We change the title so it's consistent.
Porting as much as possible from EB to the GBA.

Just dropping in to say how excited I was when I checked back in on this project on a whim and found someone had moved it forward after all these years! Playing Earthbound on the go on my Gameboy Micro was always a dream of mine - very happy to see it is coming true.

I agree that a color and/or sound restoration patch would also be super awesome, but the biggest and most important thing has always been at least having a translation available at all. Thanks for all your hard work in continuing to move this forward!

Found this thread while looking up Mother 1+2 english patches. So glad to see it being worked on. Any ETA on an IPS patch that covers both Mother 1 and 2 at once?

We have no ETA, but I'm guessing that it *may* be finished in 2021. Jeffman, the leader of the project, is currently busy/taking a break or something.

I've heard stories on how difficult Earthbound is to hack, and that the GBA port is just as annoying to work with. Things look a lot better compared to the last time I played Mother 1+2. I wish the team luck.

No. We don't support reproduction cartridges. They make money off of other people's hard work.
