Whhen i
With Modmii, you can either use version 8 or version 10.

if you install version 8 final, you can always install version 10 beta 52 on top of version 8 final. and vice versa.

or follow the cios d2x guide.

Up to you .
When I install final, usbloadergx is unable to intialize usb.

Cheers for all that. I formatted the old Fat 32 drive through Wii Backup manger & started again. So far its been totally stable and 100%

I'll look into sorting my CIOS out and perhaps update the the other bits too.

Thanks loads for your help.

I had a look at doing this the other day then forgot about it as was everything was going fine.

Yesterday the whole thing crashed & USB Loader GX wouldn't pick up any Wii games, now my 6 year old is distraught.

Using the recommended Wii.guide I can't select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52. My options stop at V6.

I see that the d2x cIOS Installer has a folder called V10 so imagined it'd pull this through but seemingly not.

Ideally how do I get it to give me the option of V10 & am I OK following the guide but using V6?

Thanks again

That's the one I was following on your earlier recommendation.

Section II, part 1. I don't have the option to select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52.

I can only swap between V5 (I think) & V6.
Did you put the homebrew "cios d2x installer" in your APPS on your SD card, then run "cios d2x installer" from the homebrew channel ??

Does that look better?

I loaded USB Loader GX and its not seeing my external hard drive of games (even though it has done previous) and its freezing after I press any button so I'm now off to try and reinstall that.

Your sysCheck is ok except the Base for IOS249 - it should be 56 please, otherwise you will have Issues with USB loading/working USBLoaders....

Thank you.:)

seen your syscheck report, you have an old version of cios d2x v6, get version 8 final or version 10 beta 52 with Modmii from XFlak ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/

With Modmii, you can insert your syscheck report, and it will check what to update (IOS, CIOS).

Or follow this guide to install the ci2 d2x ==>https://wii.guide/cios

When you have installed the new version of ci2 d2x (version 8 final or v10 beta 52), and you redo a new syscheck report, you will notice that on your new syscheck report, they will be installed.

It would be necessary to give more information on your problem (loaders (version to use) ??, which usb support ?? ....)
Ins

Is this syschck right now?

that looks pretty good. I know that version 8 of the cios d2x is considered the best for the wii. there's a version 10, but it's recommended for the virtual wii. I don't know if it will really have any impact on the wii.

Hello,

Your syscheck report is perfect.

I strongly advise you to get an external hard drive in fat 32 and use "wii backup manager" to manage your games.:yay::yaywii:

I strongly advise against USB keys ==> often black screen or does not start.:hateit:

Does the usb key also affect game loading time because my cod 3 is stuck on its loading screen.

it depends on the usb flash drive. the one I use for the ps4 dumping and installing games was the fastest on the market. I've gotten over 200MBs/s with it.

Hello,

Yes .
Hello I bought a 1tb hard drive WD passport 3.0 hard drive. I formatted to fat32 and put all my games on it. I went to use it on cfg first and it said can not mount, no wbfs partition or something like that. After that I put on usbloadergx and it also said there was no fat32 ntfs exFat or wbfs partition. Then I went back to cfg and formatted the primary partition to wbfs as it said to mount it. After that it said I had no games. Then I went to put it in my chromebook (dont have a pc have to go to library) it doesn't read it. Pls help me.
Hello,

Yes .
