My USB Loader GX was downloaded yesterday, but I nevertheless tried to update it with the files from where you were referencing...
I don't know what's going on, now the loader is stuck in the ''Loading- Initialize usb device'' step... it won't even load anymore...
Just to be absolutely sure here, that Loader app needs to be in the app folder of the SD card right ? Not on the app folder on the USB drive. Is this correct ?

I am using the right port yeah, the one that's closest to the edge, and my external hard drive is plugged into the wall...
I managed to get a system check...

So I try to run this in ModMii and it tells me that my softmod is up to date... And then closes by itself...
Yet I'm stuck, the loader still gets stuck in the ''Loading- Initialize usb device'' step... it won't even load anymore...
Interestingly enough though, I checked (I left my SD card out of my machine, loaded Homebrew Launcher) and there are some emulators on the USB drive... and THEY WORK !!!
I suppose you can use a drive that contains Gamecube and Wii games on the Wii and the VWii, right ? Or should I get two different drives to do the same job, one for each console or not ?
What would be the reason that it works perfectly fine on my Wii U and not on my Wii ? I guess the drive isn't to blame... And it used to work perfectly fine on my Wii 2 years ago...
Interestingly enough though, I checked (I left my SD card out of my machine, loaded Homebrew Launcher) and there are some emulators on the USB drive... and THEY WORK !!!
How can I be able to load emulators from my USB drive but any loaders I tried to run my Wii/Gamecube fails... How can that be ???
So it seems that the problem is not the drive, but the link between USB loader GX and the drive, right ?
It seems odd that I am able to load games from emulators right from my hard drive and all runs OK, but as soon as I try to load a GC or a Wii game via any loader, it doesn't work ! Even SaveGame Manager GX tells me my USB device is not initialized !
And the same hard drive runs OK with my Wii U (VWii) setup)...
I am losing hope... I look at all the guideline online to install USB Loader GX and it really doesn't seem like any rocket science or anything... I do every step like I should, to no avail...
I I even done the d2x cIOS installer procedure, followed by another system check, then another Modmii tuneup (two cIOS were not up to date it seems)... Nothing works !
hi guys, totally noob here,
i get my jap wii couple weeks ago which have an opera error when trying to access setting, after searching the net high and low i came across one possible solution which is flashing with bushing's JAP 288 repad...but it return error after extracting..
is there any other method to fix this opera error, any lead will be very appreciated.

The Hard drive I use on my son's softmodded Wii setup has a few emulators installed on it... He also has CFG Loader and SaveGame Manager GX... His setup works A1 on his machine...
I tried plugging it on my own softmodded Wii...
Turns out it's doing the same thing as my own hard drive once hooked on my machine... Emulators from USB hard drive run A1 ! But as soon as I want to run SaveGame Manager GX or even the CFG Loader it says that the device is not detected !!!
I also noticed that when I try to go into the ''Hard Drive settings'' all the option in there are not responding... (settings->hard drive settings->Game/Install partition ) ...
Any clue as to what could be wrong with my machine ? I double checked and it is plugged in the right USB port (the one closest to the edge)...

I’m a little confused by this. I finally got wiimmfi after all this time first on homebrew channel and seen I needed to use a disc but than I realized usb loader gx had it included, so I just went on that. Mario kart Wii worked right away but smash bros gives me the error code. Do I really have to delete my game progress, if that is what this link is saying or is there a different thing I could do to avoid losing any game progress.
I read something about clearing licenses, not sure if that would delete anything but I need to see where that is located.

Run a syscheck on the console it works on and compare it against the syscheck of the problematic console. In particular see what ios is installed to slot 249 on both machines and see if there's a difference there
Ok I think this is what I have to do, only problem I can’t access my friend code and if running this from homebrew channel actually works, for whatever reason smash is the only game disc for the wii I have that I somehow misplaced somewhere. https://wiimmfi.forumotion.com/t44-error-code-60000
The moment I post I found my game case with disc inside.
Edit
just got the same error, is there another way to see my friend code, so I can put it in the database.
Edit
Haven’t really been thinking about online for who knows how long and just watched a video showing what I believe is the friend code from the system menu address book. Is that where the code really is because I thought all games have different friend codes.
Edit
That address book wasn’t the code, too many numbers, all of it couldn’t be typed. Method 1 on the website, the link to download didn’t work.
I’ll post my if I get this done correctly tomorrow. After reading again I think I just read create your own friend code.
Final edit
Got my smash bros friend code now, I think I ended up getting because I realized I could put my Mario kart friend code to assign console on their website or because I made the account with them, so when I got the error I was going to see it on my online account.

No I thought it was because I was able to see the friend code on the website but it’s not letting me set it. Not sure if I have to wait 24 hours because I never got a message for that. As you can see by this picture it shows a login was attempted. I don’t really know what it means by old friend code.

By old friend code, it means the Super Smash B.Brawl friend code, I believe.
As the page states, you need to put that FC into the box, Assign, then connect to Wiimmfi on SSBB.

I’ll take a break and try again later. I’m hoping I don’t have to delete save data or something. I really don’t want to start playing this game from the beginning or download someone’s save file.
Just smash, I can play mk online without a problem, let me see if I can delete the fc code from the website and try reconnecting it. That is what I was going to try doing later but I’ll check now.
