In competitive battles, there's the move Trick Room which makes slower Pokémon move faster so a lot of players will breed Pokemon with 0 Speed IV. There are moves like Sap Sucker and effects like Confusion which punish a player for their "Attack" stat being higher so when a player is using only Special moves on a Pokémon they will typically want 0 Attack IV. And of course, there's the Special move user for a Trick Room team which will often want both 0 Attack IV & 0 Speed IV.
In past generations, IVs used to matter more competitively because the attack Hidden Power was a TM. Hidden Power's type was based upon all 6 IVs. Allowing every Pokemon access to all the types of Max Moves would make Dynamax mechanic a bad mechanic for the competitive metagame so Hidden Power didn't return in Sword & Shield as a TM. It's unlikely to ever return as a TM just due to how it's not good for the competitive scene for any Pokemon to have access to any type of attack.

Anyways. The simple fact is everyone's uses are different. This massive thread is proof of that. Look at how frequently there's someone screaming into the abyss for "Item Quantity" cheats! I use PKHeX for generating Den encounters & the Item bag and that's it. I do not agree with Genning as I play competitively. (I am also worried one day GameFreak gets their poop together and impliments a legality checker on Pokémon Home. In that scenario, I know using cheats that my living Dex will still be there. Who knows about the geners.)
Make sure title ID and build ID match with the 1.2.1 one on the opening page.
I did and it just crashes when I try to load the cheats. I'm telling you it doesn't work. I verified the title and build. It's on your end, I think, not mine.

The part about some of the cheat doesn't work is correct I only have tried two cheats so far, just the den reset and purple beam one. At least the TID and BID are correct on the opening page, as they showed up on Edizon lol.

Nothing even shows up despite it being the same as what's in Edizon. I verified the title ID and build ID. It's not my problem that I can see. How are you even seeing the cheats?

Load the game, open up homebrew menu through applet mode, then go to edizon, there is a blue cheat tab on the bottom.
Yes but the tab is totally blank despite everything exactly matching. Obviously it doesn't work.

I agree with this completely. PKHEX is a great tool but these cheats are 100% necessary for a lot of folks including myself so the idea that this post isn't being updated because PKHEX works for @Ultimos54 is a bit of a let down. Keeping the original post organized should be priority. This thread is enormous and a pain to sift through so people end up asking the same question 10 times when it had already been answered multiple times 3 pages before. I would like to help if possible, I can test codes or check text files if it would somehow be helpful to get the original post in order, I'm sure there will be at least one more update before crown tundra.
Some things I found on both sw/sh Most cheats crash on my 1.2.1 version (ie: hacth eggs faster) but the cheats are showing up after updating the title id and such.

Did you start the game, then go into the homebrew menu via album (applet mode)?

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
