Homebrew Retroarch Wii setup (won't find ROMS folder)

Ok, so I did some research and just cannot find the answer. I am setting up Retroarch on my softmodded Wii.
Retroarch loads, but it will not show my roms folder which is on the root of my USB HDD.
No matter how much I scan and mess with settings, I cannot find any content.
I have seperate folders in the roms folder, but as said, no luck...
Could someone point me in the right direction?

I guess it's a basic thing you've already done, but have you looked in the Settings > Paths menu?

There you must point out where exactly to look for games, or config files and such.
