@Jayro Hey, I know this thread is well dead, but I just repurchased a new 3ds xl and looking to re-shell it.

Did you remember the keywords when you search on ebay (link's dead)? I tried everything I can think of, and ebay seller seems to all sell the hinge only. They did sell the full housing, but it's for the "old" 3DS XL pokemon variation.

Can't find the pikachu shell anywhere.

Look in aliexpress. There aren't many variations though :/

Yeah, I'm not sure. You could try local pawn shops, or the Facebook marketplace too.

Also you need to know that re-shelling this thing is pain in the rear. Be prepared because something brake 90% of the times...

I had trouble with the ribbon cables, I ultimately just had to tape them rolled up hella tight, and then pull them through with tweezers .The rest wasn't too bad, but keeping track of all the screws was a bitch.
