hey all, so last week I dropped my New 3DS XL... later that night I found that my microphone had stopped working while playing Treasure Tracker. So I promptly ordered a new microphone as a replacement. Today, I opened my 3DS and (following all tutorials I found) pried up on the connector (that is apparently not ZIF)... however, when I did this, the little side plastic chipped off very easily. This is when I realized that the microphone had simply been loosened by the impact and not broken. At this point, I started panicking due to the chipped connector and pried up on the other similar connector that I saw... the home button. As you all probably know, these connectors aren't meant to be opened, and they don't really go back down.. So anyways at this point I have tried using paper to push up the flex cable into the connector flap. It kind of works, except for the fact that the microphone only works for the instant that I apply pressure. Even when I'm pushing down the connector into the cable, it doesn't respond to my blowing. Any tips?
