What would be the point to a sequel, really? I think a lot of the original game's charm lies in how it steadily escalated the stakes and introduced new wrinkles into the gameplay right up until the end. There's really nowhere else for the game to go. I'm actually kind of reluctant to play through it again because I expect it's just not going to be as much fun as it was the first time around and I don't want to spoil my memories.

Besides, didn't they try introducing new content into the Switch version? And wasn't that a resounding disappointment with almost everyone?

This actually reminded me I was waiting on a price drop for the Switch version, and FYI for anyone interested, it's 50% off on the eShop right now, $25 (at least in the US). Seems like a good choice to help me with my upcoming P4G withdrawals. :D

I love that they kept true to the animation style! I only hope the animation is just as good as the game, as it's easily in my top 5 for NDS titles!

I don't have a Switch, so no, I did not. I'm just going by what I've read.

Did you find the Final Remix content to be good?
I did, but I'm a huge fanboy of the game period, so I'm biased, but it hints to a sequal possibility at the end

I've had this game on Switch for months but I have yet to play it

Should I?
No. Now that you have spent money on it you should obviously let it sit unplayed in your backlog forever. :-P

You should play the DS version if you can get your hands on it and have the appropriate hardware, but otherwise, why wouldn't you play it?

This might be a good show. I mean, the story is interesting enough. But the main draw of the game, for me, was the hectic and multi-tasking gameplay, and collecting all the badges (evolving them etc).

Without the gameplay, I just don't see this appealing to me very much. I'll try to watch it but it'll probably just cause me to play the game again. Would love if this lead into a sequel though!

The DS version was amazing and the Switch version is fun if you play "co-op" by yourself (1 joycon in each hand, but your partner can't get damaged so it's certainly easier than DS)
