I usually exercise in the afternoon, around 4-5 PM. I'm only trying to lose weight for now so it's mostly a bunch of short but intense stuff together that my friend put together for me. I first start off with some light stretching from head to toe as that apparently improves blood circulation. After stretching, I start off with 20 seconds of high knees. Afterwards, I do planks for another 20 seconds and after that I do squat thrusts for 20 seconds as well. After finishing squat thrusts, I simply rest while standing up for about 2 minutes. I drink a bit of water if needed but otherwise, I just try to regain air. After 2 minutes passes, I do the whole thing over again. I do this all for 7 times.

As for my diet, I used to eat a lot of rice throughout the day (think of 2-4 cups per meal) while nowadays, I mainly have 2 cups for breakfast, 1 cup for lunch, and 0 or sometimes 1 cup for dinner. There are days wherein I crave and eat a lot of food but I'm generally able to limit myself to having only 1 or 2 cheat days a month. I also now stay away from fast food. I used to eat that a lot when I was in the dormitories as aside from somewhat being cheap and readily available, I find the taste good enough.

i eat whatever i like, whenever and i hadnt gained any weight in over 20 years. my job is pretty physical, so i get exercise while i get paid, i guess. i like to run, but ive injured my toe. its been a few month since ive gone running. my toenail may or may not fall off. now and again, i like to do some sit ups, pushups, or stretching in the morning. my wife is dieting, so im doing that with her. at 43, i should probably change how i eat.

I exercise, but I have no loftier goal than to keep my anxiety at bay and to compensate for all the sitting I do all day. I'm a completely reasonable weight and I can run and bike as far as I need to. To build substantial amounts of muscle would require trustworthy advice from a knowledgeable person and probably a much higher protein intake, neither of which would come cheap. (Trying to find good diet and exercise advice on the Internet is an utterly hopeless cause, so I do what works for me.)

I've only just recently returned to my weightlifting routine, been far more consistent about cardio these last few months. At the moment I'm just doing some definition work on my shoulders, chest, and abs, so about half my max lift. Three sets of ten, four different exercises (weighted sit-ups, curls, bench press, overhead lift) three times a week. I try to change up the order of exercises each session for a bit of muscle confusion, and I always down an organic whey protein shake 15 minutes after each session to speed recovery time.

My diet's nothing special, usually just a whole lot of chicken dishes with a side of rice or potatoes. Occasionally a salad or some fruit as a snack, but nothing that's strictly enforced (I'll sometimes go for the beef jerky or flamin hot limon Doritos instead).

I try to do a bit of strength training by lifting weights (3~4kg) & doing a bit of cardio running around a nearby park as much as possible.
Lately I have been exercising a lot more due to playing ring fit adventure on the switch:rofl2:

Diet wise I just eat whatever I can get my hands on:rofl2:

Before the COVID pandemic I would go to the gym 3-5 times a week. Usually after work, around 5PM. The work out routine you do, depends on your body type and goals. Diet also fits in with goals. I am 6'4" and about 215-220lb as a maintaining weight. If i am trying to bulk up a bit, generally mid to late winter I make sure to never go hungry during the day and have a lot of healthy snacks and protein shakes. Since COVID and my gym closing I have been doing UFC personal trainer on Kinect. It sucks compared to my work out routine but its something and its motivating to get the achievements (100 consecutive days of working out). I have definitly decreased my food intake. My typical routine is start with a warm up (10 minutes treadmill and 10 minutes rowing machine) then go into the muscle group for the day (chest and biceps, legs, back and triceps, shoulders and traps) and then finish with some ab work. If you want abs those are made in the kitchen (DIET, low carbs and watching your calories) you can get into the intense watching your macros but I've never done that.

Age also plays a part, in my early 20's I could eat and drink whatever and still maintain a low body fat. Now I am in my 30s I need to be more careful of what I eat

I do on average 1 hour of elliptical, jogging speed, 2 or 3 times a week (more often if I have an extra free evening). I've had it for years but finally started using it when I realized I could play games at the same time. I just put on some dark souls and play while jogging. I lose time while playing so sometimes I'll go way longer than I meant to. Then my knees hurt.

I really need to do more upper body stuff. Maybe I can attach joycons to some weights lol.

No real diet, just home cooking. No fast-food and very little take-out food.

What about you, Flame?

I'm lucky enough to be able to eat anything I want and still be slightly underweight. So I've gotten pretty lazy when it comes to exercising the past couple years. But I'm going to be (and already have started) lifting weights more and doing anything else that comes to mind. No specific routine or schedule which is how I like it.

Last year I was 113 kg and now I weigh 78 kg thanks to keto diet and fasting with no exercise (only two hours walk from 6 to 8 am)

After one month on Keto I didnt feel so good like I am going to faint every time I stand up ...... maybe due to low salt.

I drink coffee at 4-5 am and the eat breakfast at 9 am, lunch at 12 pm and dinner at 4 pm.

I am 78 kg for a long time it wont go lower.

My favorite ingredient in keto is coconut butter ............ verrrrry good.

I try to workout every day, as Minox said tho my routine has had some hiccups due to COVID
I have been alternating workouts
  • push day: mostly chest and shoulders (bench press etc)
  • pull day: mostly biceps and back (rows, curls etc)
  • leg day: the legs and abs (squat machine, planks etc)
I also usually try to go for a long walk or hike each day - recently went on an 11 mile hike/3000 ft gain of elevation - it was so nice!

As far as food, I eat whatever I want. Pretty bad diet. I eat ice cream everyday for example. I try to get enough fiber.

I suck at eating and it's the biggest thing holding me back from making gains :\

check below for photo recent hike :)

I do.

I was on my game harder than I ever was before the pandemic. I was going everyday and down 20 pounds. But then you know.

Recently they re-opened the gym so I can get back on my game.
I always start by running a mile or two. When I get my stamina back I will start going further but that is not yet.
Monday is leg day. Never miss leg day. If I do, I do it the first time I make it to the gym that week.
Tuesday is chest.
Wednesday is is shoulders.
Thursday is arms.
Friday is focus on abs with a mix of what I feel like needs to be worked on.
I usually miss a day or two so I just bump the schedule to the next day if necessary.

I try to keep my eating clear the week and when I am at home. Out and about sometimes that is harder. Lots of rice, chicken, local farm sourced beef, and local veggies.

Do you guys recommend taking vitamin c supplement ?

All of them are ascorbic acid .... some people says animals only produce ascorbic acid in their bodies so we only need uncomplex vitamin c (ascorbic acid) and others says VITAMIN C must be complex and complete.

I am confused ........ any of you use ascorbic acid and got good results ?

You get enough in your regular diet, I wouldn't take extra

Taking too much can lead to formation of kidney stones

Don't ask strangers on the Internet (especially on a video game forum!?) about nutritional advice. I would suggest you find someone competent who actually knows about these things.

Some suggest Vitamin C has an antioxidant effect that will protect against the free radicals generated during exercise and thereby reduce muscle soreness. Others say that it might serve to accommodate for any temporary weakening in the immune system following exercise. Most will probably tell you that it's all nonsense and that you really don't need any supplements if you are eating a balanced diet.

That's what Vitamin C is, yes.

and others says VITAMIN C must be complex and complete.
So eat an orange, then. If you don't like oranges, don't eat oranges.

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
