Is it safe to install Wii Sports I'm about to install from Teconmoon's Injector? Like could I brick? I've heard horror stories about CBHC but, haven't seen Wupinstaller brick anyone but, this guy on youtube said it could but all installed with Wii U USB Helper wouldn't brick he said IDK what to do, do you?
First of all, the CBHC horror stories are probably just people screwing up royally due to user error.
Also, installing the injected Wii Sports games is completely safe as long as you do not screw it up by doing something that's obviously dangerous (like turning off the console when you're installing the game) And finally, Wii U USB Helper does indeed offer Wii and GameCube injections that were most likely made with this tool to begin with. So in conclusion, you won't brick.

Does anyone know why I can't get the Simpson's Road Rage to inject properly? Keep getting a corrupt inject when I download it. Images seem to be the right size (although they're a little weird, don't look as official as the ones from the repo). Downloaded the images from this thread. ISO seems to be fine. Runs in Dolphin and I got it from the same place I got all of my others.

Just to clarify, the issue is not with the game itself but rather with the banners being corrupted, correct?

I believe it is the banners but I'm unsure. I get the "?" icon when I install it like I have in the past when the banner/icon is the wrong size (but they aren't, I checked, hence my confusion)

Seeing as the game itself works, then your issue seems to be the banners. The ones that you downloaded directly from the injector didn't work? If that's the case, then the next best thing would be for you to create the banners yourself.

They didn't download directly from the injector like the others, the injector linked to that thread and they were made by someone else. I'm just confused about why they don't work if they're the right pixel width/height and file type.

Weird, seeing that it is pretty late where I live (its 1:37 AM/01:37 right now) I will test that later and see what I find. Could you kindly directly link me the banners you used for this?

Certainly. Lemme know what your diagnosis is lol. They're ugly but as far as I can tell, they seem to meet the criteria. I only bothered using the banner/icon in the download so disregard the other things in it if it includes other things like a boot sound, etc.

I seem to have found the problem. The files that were offered were organized in the same fashion as the Wii U organizes these assets in the console's Nand files. I think that the intended way to use these files is to have an already working injection and replacing the files used with the ones provided with something like FTPiiU Everywhere. I still don't know why the injector would not download the images tough... I will see if I can get images that work.
EDIT: Well, I just did the injection with the images and they worked just fine... So scrap everything said above. You must have done something wrong in the injection progress. What settings did you use?

Just got it to work on my 4th try. Didn't do anything differently. Why it wouldn't work the first three times shall probably remain a mystery. Appreciate the troubleshooting.

Maybe they were subtle differences in what you did before. Well, fourth time's the charm I guess?
Apparently not, because the icon looks god awful next to all of my other official looking injects and something in me is telling me to make my own for aesthetic's sake. Had no idea how much it would bother me

I've been making my own Wii and GC icons and banners a lot lately because some of the less obvious games don't have them so you have to make them yourself. I just user a template, cut/paste the image I want over it and done. Paint.net is a good app for that.

I've tried both Paint.net with a photoshop file plugin as well as Gimp and can't seem to edit text on the templates. The programs seem to treat the layers like regular layers instead of text layers. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah you got me there I don't know how to do that either. I ran into that problem with a game the other day, I just copied the name of the game on it's cover and and pasted it over the words lol not very professional but it looked fine to me.
