Did you plug the nand chip on the modchip and not on to the motherboard? I also heard that people plugged the nand chip on to the motherboard and the Switch doesnt power on without giving any leds on sx core. A overall picture would be nice

you should take off the metal shield from the nand. you may have shortcut the modchip.
yes but it wont turn on even with the chip attached

On the second picture, you already plugged the nand chip , where it belongs to but you must take the silver alu-shielding off. You can shortcut the modchip or maybe because of the alu-shielding, the nand chip does not connect properly.

It may be normal, I did not test it with mine but if you want to check your soldered connections, use multimeter and test the connectivity on both solder points.

If he means without the nand, thats absolutly normal but if he means that he did not attach the modchip, I have to let this unanswered as I did not test that.

There is the problem, you did not connect the first connector, near the cable where it says "up" to the motherboard. From the image I can see it is not connected

I marked it on the picture with a red marker, there is the second connector on the modchip, that you have to plug it on to the motherboard. then it should work

Received and installed mine, i am a completely IGNORANT when it comes to soldering, just used a bit of common sense and lots of patience.... did it in an afternoon, the only thing i dont like is that this wont let me reboot or boot any other payload, lets say Lockpick and Incognito RCM, i cant use either because i get a black screen... everything else works. Even Tesla menu.
