Well, my Wii is a Soft-modded LU64+ and I used uLoader and it works nicely. No crashes, no black screens, not any of that stuff. I just installed cIOS249 rev19 & cIOS33 using base 37 and it ended all my problems. I will like to use USB Loader GX instead because I'm used to it and my games are more organized and everything so I will try to do different configurations to see what happens. So far I pass the first part of the game, killed few monsters and loving the cut scenes they look awesome. I really love PoP games they are just so fun and awesome.

PS:
I'm using a NTSC Wii with a ("Region Free") PoP-FS( It says PAL in GX). Hermes 222, uLoader 5.1D with no configuration at all just as it was. It freezes after the titles when using GX and in neogamma I do not get any kind of response.

EDIT:
Now I was testing USB Loader GX r938 and I found that using Hermes 222, 002 Fix - Anti and cIOS33 base 37 Installed were the great combination that made this game work on my LU64+. Tested and working real nice now. BTW using uLoader was good but after few battles it frezzes while killing enemies, not sure whats the problem but I got over it.

Same here, I made a post where I mentioned the same thing, it gets stuck on a black screen. I think the game has an AP that does not allow to start, in CFG USB Loader they fixed it and works perfectly ^_^

I had no idea this game even had issues running on loaders but here are more than 500 replies to this thread. I never ended up beating this game but I put a few hours into it and never ran into any issues. Played it in usbloader gx r1260.

So I had the familiar old issue with this game on a recent version of Wiiflow Lite: black screen on boot, almost certainly caused by the game's "anti patching" protection as @Cyan aptly put it. https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/page-1050#post-5816314

His same advice applies to fix this issue: disable all patches in Wiiflow's game settings for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The reason this problem cropped up is because there's a relatively new patch that needs to be disabled: the 480p pixel patch implementation in Wiiflow Lite (5.4.8) is not compatible with Forgotten Sands.

Maybe this is a similar issue to Kirby's Adventure Wii, and can be resolved with a gameconfig file to POKE the right addresses.

Thanks for the advice, I will try it soon

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

    How are you doing?

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.

    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
