Thanks...sorry I couldn’t get it...can you explain it in an easy way please...I am noobie...and thanks
copy file over
restart console
the modchip tells you there is an update
apply update
reboot

Also the new fix is pretty funky in how it works

  • user updates via choij -> switch gets updated but bricked -> modchip unbricks console -> console is now updated and working without any burned fuses

Does anyone have a link to the SX core being sold on Aliexpress?
Also any update on 3rd party modchips that might be cheaper?

I accidentally boot in ofw using a boot.dat and license in sd card, and when I checked the album in ofw it shows sxos homebrew menu does that make my nand dirty? I think it booted to ofw cause I used a sd card with just boot.dat and license without an emunand on it.

Normal album = Normal mode
TX SX album = SX OS

i dont quite get you. sorry new to the scene. do you mean that I didn't boot in ofw? and I booted in cfw? but I don't have emunand at that moment.. does that accident make my nand dirty?

If you see your pictures inside your album you are in OFW non modded side

If you see TX SX menu in your album then your on CFW modded side

This has to be the most on point and detailed one I've seen thus far for the Lite...

okay I got it now.. after I see the TX SX menu I turn off the switch and boot in sx os bootloader, made a nand back up and emunand there... my concern is does my nand back up got dirty? Because I booted in TX SX menu before doing a back up?

You should be good

We used to boot emunand this way in the past and personally never got banned.
