Homebrew Problem Installing Eshop game with WUP

I'm having a problem installing eshop games (virtual console and regular eshop games) using the Wii U USB Helper program with a soft modded Wii U. I'm using the WUP installer, but it only works with retail games. The error code says it is missing a signature but I have no idea what that means.

Easy your CFW isnt on. Just run Haxchi or if that doesnt work get Mocha and run it then you can install the game. Also note that since its not ripped from a legit retail disc you will have to run Haxchi or Mocha before running or you will get an error and have to restart your Wii U (for the same reason you cant install the USBhelper games)

Also you can get forwarders for stuff like Nintendont and Wii64 using the installer and even the homebrew channel. Also please get haxchi or indexiine to make your life easier

I have the Haxchi Installer but I think I went through that process before with Brain Age. I'm afraid running it again will brick the system. Is there an option to switch it on without running the installer?

As long as it's not CBHC (it will say CBHC) you have no chance of brick even if you run the installer 100 times.

Actually even if it's CBHC you won't brick no worries at all. Haxchi can't brick your Wii U at all CBHC (which is Coldboot Haxchi meaning Autoboot CFW) can if you remove the ds game only. Running the installer will never brick you.

There's no harm to re-install Haxchi over itself. If you have CBHC installed, you might want to disable it first, just to be safe. Refer to this to install Haxchi properly so you can use its sigpatches easily.

You can use sign_patcher SystemMenu first, then second use wup installer, and voila.

This worked after continuously experimenting with Haxchii (Haxchii Installer never worked and I don't know what I was doing wrong. It will load to the menu but I would still get the same error).

I successfully installed the Smash 4 DLC.
