whoa 5 flash carts care to explain that one?
back in the early 2000s, I purchased a Flash2Advance 128M - which was expensive and can only games up to 16Mb filesize (128M = 128 Mbit). It can only hold between 1-4 games and is really tricky to flash on modern computers (you need a windows XP machine)
Sometime later, I purchased the EZFlash IV micro SD which works just fine and when the EZFlash Team introduced the autopatching kernel, it made it even better.
I then stumbled accross the Supercard SD Mini for 7€ and despite me knowing it's not a good card, I couldn't say no to it for a price that low. Even if it only played a few games, I figured it would do the trick for a bunch of 2 player games and be more convenient than the Flash2Advance.
When the EZFlash Reform was released, I didn't necessarily need a new flashcard, but I found a deal for 24€ which made it an impulse purchase.
The release of the Omega was pretty much the same, I didn't need a new one but the new features (savestates and cheat support) sounded interesting and when one popped up for just over 30€, i purchased one.
So basically, I only bought my Reform and Omega carts because they were cheap.
EDIT: come to think of it, leaving the Flash2Advance aside, the remaining 4 flashcards combined were basically the same price as the everdrive x5 alone.
