Hardware Unable to inject payload no matter what

I am posting here as a last resort for this issue I am having. I am unable to get any devices to detect my switch to inject a payload. I have tried a Windows 10 pc, a MacBook, and a jailbroken iPhone with a otg adapter. None of these devices recognize my switch. I know for a fact it is going into RCM mode because it doesn’t turn on when I press the power button once not does it turn on when I plug the cable into it. If I hold it for a while it turns on and I can get it into RCM mode every time without fail. I have also made sure my switch is not patched. I have taken every suggestion from users online including changing out the usb c cables and trying it on other devices and even making sure all the drivers were installed. The usb c port works for charging and also docks to my tv just fine. Does anyone else have any other insight as to what the problem is? I am assuming my switch is the problem but it is bizarre because there are no apparent issues with the hardware.
Any additional info or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Charge with official charger. for 4 hours then try again.
Rcm mode will illuminate the screen in the edges, make sure you see backlight or slightly lit screen.

Before you rcm make sure to hard power off.

Are you sure it illuminates the screen? When I put it into RCM mode it won’t turn on with a single button press nor will it turn on when plugging a usb c cable into it but the screen itself stays dark. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the screen illuminate when I’m in RCM. My switch is also not showing up as APX on my windows pc even though I’ve installed all the drivers. It just shows up as unknown device.

Sorry my bad I was thinking of something else, no rcm screen stays black,

what does the PC say when you plug it in ?

I just thought id test rcm myself again, and I actually had issues saying device not recognized.
I had reinstall the operating system not so long ago, so I thought id just install the driver. that did not work using the older Tegra gui..

I downloaded the latest and installed it to PC not using the portable version after it installed I turned off the switch and plugged in the cable and then turned the switch back on, Again USB device not recognized.
Damn I thought, I already installed the driver from the older Tegra and it did not work.

I clicked on settings in the new Tegra version installed the driver after accepting the prompts.

And put the switch into rcm again, this time it was recognized instantly.

Maybe try the new version of tegra and install it and goto install the apx driver from tegra settings itself and try again.

I never get these issues but today it surprised even me.

Yeah I have tried installing the drivers many times and it still doesn’t work. I have tried many different cables and every time I plug the switch in it makes a noise and shows an unknown usb device is connected but it never shows as APX like it should. I am at a loss for words. No one I’ve talked to has been able to figure this out.

Then use your phone, you have a otg cable ? plug that into your usbc cable and use the payload sender for android.

Or make ya self a trinket payload sender. like I did pretty cheap, or buy a premade payload sender instead.
