ROM Hack RELEASE RUINER 60 FPS mod

Mod unlocking 60 FPS and tweaking DR.

Recommended minimal OC settings for handheld:

Code:

handheld_charging_cpu=1581
handheld_charging_gpu=768
handheld_charging_mem=1600

Higher OC CPU = better framerate when fighting with many enemies.

Not tested in docked mode.
It should work with all versions.

Changed DR minimal resolution from 70 to 50% (which means it can drop to 360p), added DR framerate target to 16.6, enabled DR for docked mode (originally it's disabled).

Copy folder 01006EC00F2CC000 to sdcard folder

atmosphere/titles (Atmosphere 0.9.4 and older)
or
atmosphere/contents (Atmosphere 0.10.1+)
or
reinx/contents
or
sxos/titles

And restart Switch.

Can you make a mod to disable dynamic resolution? maybe increase resolution a bit?

Just use docked mode. You will get 720p locked without DR (without this mod).

If someone is interested:
Ruiner on Switch runs 720p locked in docked (so no DR), while handheld runs with DR enabled between 504-576p (70-80% of 720p) according to SwitchDeviceProfiles.ini

Both capped at 30 FPS.

60 FPS is not possible without CPU OC - AI is too demanding.

When you're installing python, you need to check option something about adding to %PATH% before actual installing, otherwise it won't be recognized.

Edit: Just finished the game on hard with 60 fps mod. Overall was a better experience than with 30fps (of course the best way to play it is on pc for sure), but i noticed 2 places in the game where firing projectile weapons for some reason made the fps go down to like 15. Idk if it was related to 60fps mod or just something switch-specific.
