I'm not getting a chance to activate them

The game freezes at the point in which I click 'Cheats' in the overlay. I've managed to edit the file so that (v1.2.0) is removed from every line except this one. I've even managed to rename some of them, and move them around in the file (moving the gender selection and catch rate to the top so I don't have to scroll through a lot of 'encounter only' codes) and everything works fine. It is literally just that one line that doesn't like to be changed. Bizarre.

Interestingly, if I move this cheat further down the file, so that it doesn't initially show on screen, it doesn't crash the game, but as soon as I scroll down far enough to make it appear on screen, it immediately freezes. The game just really doesn't like displaying that line without the (v.1.2.0) there.

Edit - Bizarrely, renaming the line to "Infinite Watts" has done the trick. I'm aware nobody probably cares as much as I do about what the name of the cheats are, but I just like them to fit neatly on screen lol.

Hey, so what firmware do I need to be on for the latest DLC - Island of Armor? Currently I am still using 9.2.0 abd AMS 0.10.5 and it seems to be fine...

Could anyone explain how to make the Expansion and DLC pass work?.

I've installed the 1.2.0 update on SX OS with 10.0.4 official firmware and the games cannot start, they just return an error and then (not always but eventually) the Switch soft-locks requiring to be forced to turn-off.

Has anyone noticed the gigantamax symbol is missing from their pokemon records in the pokebox? I am still using firmware 9.2.0 and Atmosphere 0.10.5 so I was wondering if that might be causing it?

cool, Yeah I mentioned they work. Haven’t tested out some of the others yet that have to with money, etc

Anyone know if we can catch Mewtwo yet?

Eidt: I found that it was an event I guess back in febuary. Maybe there is a cheat that can be used or perhaps I could use pokemon hex to add one to my save?

Anyone here know how I can add the cheat file for sword to the cheat database for the switch cheats updater homebrew app? I thought I could just add them to the contents.zip file but it isn't showing up when I go to edizon.....

So you're saying that this code, will allow you to turn off the always shiny code, without having to keep the code toggled on? Because this code change now just crashes my game whether it is on or off lol.

If you change it like I said, you can unlock the shiny by turning it off.
But since I tried it I tried this code on the shield
I don't know if it works with swords.

Hey @Falo

Which codes did you test? I have tested a few so far however the only I have been able to make the encounter codes work (ie: "InstaKO" & Non-Raid Perfect Capture Rolls.) These codes also worked in Shield which makes sense.

I was expecting the currency codes to work but the Den manipulation seemed iffy since the game now operates with two separate sets of Wild Area Dens with each their own individual dependencies (at least from what I can tell.) You were testing on a game which had the DLC too right? Cause that potentially would make a difference.

I noticed all the encounter related codes you posted in comparison to the v.1.1.1 codes that I have in that thread all follow the same shift in memory (which makes sense cause no new battle/encounter mechanics were added to the game so all the sectors of the memory SHOULD had moved the same amount.) So, I tested shifting the memory sector part of the codes for IVs/Natures/HAs and all work perfectly fine in Shield (and should work the same for Sword.)

Encounter cheat works for me aswell, havent tried much else but most of those sword codes worked for me in earlier version when I frankensteined cheat lists from shield and sword.

Thing is I have shield and can get the first Urshifu no problem, the second one though appears as a black Pokeball in the den so far. Havent tested it very much further, maybe its cuz its the sword one and it doesnt work on shield or maybe something different entirely ? Anyways Zarude, Cubfu and atleast on Shield the first Urshifu (Fighting/Water) work no problem.

Damn doesn´t Work on Sword Version.

that’s probably because they’re illegal. That haven’t meet the proper met location requirements. It’s ok to use for offline but wouldn’t use them online. I’m pretty sure you can’t trade or use them online as well because of that and they could get you banned
