Probably the file was corrupt.

I wasn't able to try anything else yesterday was out for a hike :-)

yes, I can still start up the system like normal but haven't tried booting up any gamecard.
i'm also still in flymode the entire process i did before and now.

I'm now going to use a 128 GB sd card, and see if that works, making emunand and steps.
Or else I'm starting to think that the dongle I have is faulty...

if you have any other ideas that I should try, please let me know

Most likely a sd card issue.

So I found out that I misunderstood one thing.
I also found out that it has nothing to do with my SD card since I'm having the same issues with the other one.
I also found out that it has (supposedly) nothing to do with the dongle.

it is the license file, every time i delete it I can access all menus.
when i make a request license file and request a file on the site, when I put it on, everything goes bad.

so at this point, I came to the conclusion that I had to be the file.
Since I actually only need to have the license file and boot file to be able to access the album menu while booting OFW.
But in my case, this doesn't work..

So ...

What should I do?
I ordered my dongle in July 2018, could it be that the license has run out?
since i only just started to use it now

The license never runs out, afaik, but it will only ever be valid on the Switch you requested it for. Could it be that you're not the first owner of the SX Pro dongle you have? I doubt that would be the issue, but you never know. I never had a blue screen while using SXOS, but I only have a license, not the SX Pro dongle. Be sure to re-read the manual for SX Pro on TX website, just to make sure you followed all steps correctly. Other than that, it could be a hardware issue, either the console, or the dongle. I also wonder what is the lowest firmware compatible with the current SXOS releases? You're on 2.0, and that's fairly old. Maybe someone knows the answer. If you had a nand backup done with hekate before doing any hacking attempts, I would say start over by re-flashing your nand, but I doubt you have one, reading your posts.

I have a nandbackup
I really think it's the license. If i delete it i can Acces the main is menu and chose to boot cfw (making making a new license) or ofw or options (to make Nand back-up)

Tried 3 diffrent SD cards now , with boot and license on it. 32gb 128gb 256gb all Blue screen when trying to Acces this menu or not booting cfw

Im the first owner btw.
And i don't think reloading the Nand is going to work, since i already got a Blue screen once while making the emunand the first time

Well I went to the SX forum, the place where I should be going :rolleyes:

Made a thread over there and already mailed TX team, since the shop where I bought my dongle is not alive anymore.
As of now I'm also aware that they're not very helpful over there, and maybe understand all this "hate/love" against them.
That being said and done.

Stumbled upon another thread there that had likewise issues with an oFW update ready to install and tried to remove that.
But my update was already removed with the factory reset.

so i'm still all out of luck :bow:

Already gave you an easy and free solution, yet you decided to follow a video guide (which you should never do as they get outdated).

I completely understand why u would or could be mad, since I actually ignored your answer on page 1
But I already paid for my license and dongle in 2018 ...

So I also hope u also understand that I don't wanna throw away that money, and trying to find a way to get this CRAP to work.

I'm currently awaiting an answer from TX team, which we all can safely say now that will never occur.
I'm about to try another SX dongle the one my friend has, see if that works, but I will eventually not work with my license

Well, if I am not mistaken, you can create an EmuNAND through the option that I gave you, and you could end up running SXOS with it. But better check with someone else that knows how to use it with SXOS.

You could also try the free version till you get an answer to your paid version, and then decide.

Good luck with whatever you end up choosing

This is the internet, cannot take everything personal.

(that's why I came back to write again even after you ignored my post)

That guide let's you create an EmuNAND and install atmosphere with hekate without sigpatches (so you cannot play games on nsp). It does not tell you how to update the EmuNAND using ChoijoudourNX. But I think I explained that in my first post.

With ChoijoudourNX you can update the EmuNAND and keep your sysnand untouched and keeping the number of fuses that you have in your sysnand, (2 in your case and if that is your thing).

If you are going to proceed updating the EmuNAND, always check first that you are in the EmuNAND partition by going to system settings

I have a bunch of xci's so i afterwards have to concert them.
But im done for today

Im happy that my switch isn't bricked.
It's just the stupid SX os license that was focking up my flow

Today new atmosphere and hekate builds were released, so it might be a bit more confusing to find the right ones (I am now looking for the ones that work with hekate) I would recommend that you first include all your files in your SD card needed to run CFW w/o sigpatches.

And with hekate/atmosphere always keep nogc patches active if you want to be able to use your cartridge games on your original firmware. If you don´t care about that and want to play cartridges on emunand you can deactivate it. But if you want to run stock and play games there you won´t be able to

You can also find NSP, NCZ directly converted. You can read around as some site are hinted somewhere (you are not allowed to ask directly for it)

Haven't done anything to post a progress today, to bizzy with other stuff.
But got a replay on a youtube channel, the new SX 3.0.2 Os is out (beta) . tried that real quick.

Same problems , as of now i'm 100% SURE it's the license file.
