Yes it's on 4.0.0. The luigi's mansion 3 lowres mod works for me, not sure why this doesn't.
I got the lowres to work in handheld, I tried using reverse nx to set it to handheld if I am docked but the resolution automatically bumps up to 720p, is there a way to have the game in 432p in handheld mode whilst still using the same of settings?
well yeah, it seems with the oc's you gave, 60 fps only really works in 432p, so to have handheld and docked in 432p should give a steady 60fps right?
Well you have the recommended OC on first post.
BOTW uses 921mhz on GPU so it should be fine.
For some reason before, reverse nx wasn't actually using handheld settings in docked mode, but now it is. I am able to get 60 fps at 432p, the gpu for docked was already at 921mhz, is there any other setting i can change that could allow 60fps at 720p?
I second this. Knowing how to change the resolution might be pretty cool.
(And, me myself, i'd probably experiment to see how high of a resolution the Switch can render KSA at. I heard for Super Mario Odyssey, it can go... a little over 1080p before it crashes?)
Odyssey was 900p max, and people from the yuzu modding community got it working at 1080p even in real HW. For Kirby and also Odyssey, setting a higher resolution either crashes thr game or results in a mess.
Ill share a way to edit resolution in kirby later.
alright, I've been playing the game in handheld mode and I've gotta say, it really looks a lot better at 60fps, it just fits better
So the low res mod is split into two: the cheat that enables 60FPS and the ips patch that loweres the resolution, So we should focus on the ips patch.
The image i posted explains the way the patch i made is structured.
You can get the instruction from hex using this https://armconverter.com/ just make sure you set it to HEX to ARM, once you get the instructions everything will be clear, also remember everything is in hex so youll need a good hex editor and a converter from decimal to hex and hex to decimal that supports little endian.

I figured out how to open the patch and edit it, but I really don't understand what any of the values mean still, I put it in the hex to arm and I downloaded HxD to open the lips. I have no idea what I'm doing with so please bear with me but I am stumped.

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1
