I have a Jasper motherboard , which can be used with RGH1.

I have a matrix chip without the oscillator. It has been flashed with the generic RGH1 timing file on Jrunner. I belive this timing is normally intended for the cool runner.

However, on the matrix chip, it takes numerous cycles for it too boot.

It’s been a while, but I can recall the RGH1 being instant boot.

Could someone advice if the process is any different with the matrix for RGH1 ?

Iirc you might need a 68nF cap in line on PLL Bypass. I can’t remember which that is on matrix atm.

I Don’t have a 68nf cap readily available. I don’t have any experience with the RGH 1.2 method and would ask if this method is just as good as the RGH1 method?

mad from my understanding this would not require any cap etc

Yeah it’s almost the same. Both use PLL to slow the cpu down. RGH1.2 just uses rgh 2.0 ECC and Xebuild. I think it works on RGH 1.0 dashboards also, so you may not have to update.

I have updated the console dashboard to the latest in preparation for the RGH 1.2 .

i dumped the nand and I ticked Glitch 2 image for the ECC and i adjusted the post pll wire, according to the RGH 1.2 diagram.

However, the matrix chip blinks and attempts to glitch but the console does not boot.

any advice for troubleshooting?

Which timing file did you flash? You can try others, though typically it boots with 19-21. Also, did you tick the CR4 box? Sometimes that helps also. Also , post your install pics so we can see.
