Okay so I thought it would be a good idea to ask here before doing anything stupid.
If I have CBHC installed on my WiiU, how can I start c2w patcher automatically as well when I turn on the console?
There's no way I'm going to launch c2w manually EVERYTIME I start the console... way too lazy for that shit.
I just want c2w patcher to be active all the time without me having to do anything at all.

I stumbled accross this post on the forums by the user banjotooie:
If you're using CBHC to launch the wii u you can rename the c2w.elf file to homebrew_launcher.elf and place it in the homebrew launcher folder (wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher) on your sd card. Rename your old homebrew launcher.elf and place it in a new folder with a name like "Homebrewchannel" or any of your choosing.
Now when your wiiU boots press the home button on the black Haxchi screen
and select homebrew launcher as the auto boot. (These setting will be saved so You'll only need to do this once) Now every time you boot up the wiiu or return the homescreen, the c2w patch will automatically be applied.

*Optional*
To now access the homebrew launcher with ease you'll need to use haxchi to patch another ds title to create a new homebrew channel. Then Use the Config.txt tfile to set the path to your original homebrew launcher.elf that you placed in a new folder earlier. (default =wiiu\apps\homebrewchannel\homebrew_ launcher)

I first want to know if this is working or if I have to do some additional stuff to get what I want?
Also about the optional step, which config file do I have to edit to be able to use the homebrew launcher again?

Just so ya know, if you launch c2w_patcher and then try to load some certain programs they will not boot and only go to a black screen. I'd opt for a setup for CBHC where you can hold a button on launch to automatically launch c2w_patcher if you're holding that button. If you use this build of CBHC https://gbatemp.net/threads/cbhc-v1-6-coldboot-haxchi-cfw.452615/page-91#post-8272093 you can put any homebrew app in a folder in the wii u homebrew apps folder named custom to launch when you hold down. Or, you could do like me and create a c2w_patcher forwarder channel. By having that, I have an app I can select on the main Wii U menu and instantly pop back to the main page as soon as I launch it and c2w_patcher is then enabled for the vWii homebrew that made good us of it (wii64 Rice and WiiSXr being the primary uses of it for me)

Alright, good that I asked. If c2w patcher can cause issues with certain wiiu stuff I'd rather not have it enabled as autoboot.
How can I create a forwarder channel for it?
Also, why are you using wii64 rice instead of not64 or the n64 vc injects ?

I do use N64 VC injects (that I edited to remove the dark screen filter and enable widescreen), but I've filled my Wii U menu with the 300 title limit, so I also use Wii64 Rice for the games injects can't handle and because I have no room for any more games on the main menu. I use Rice, because it very recently updated and is considerably better than Not64 in my opinion, near perfect compatibility, with fantastic framerates for nearly everything as long as I boot c2w_patcher first. Anyway to create the forwarder, I did the haxchi method of creating a channel, I don't recall exactly what it entails, but it's the same process you did to make a specific DS game your CBHC program. I could probably share my version with you, but I can only share it if you didn't install CBHC over the same DS game this was installed over the US version of Kirby and the Canvas Curse. Because if I share it and you used that for your CBHC, your Wii U would brick.

Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but it's damn good. Nearly every game and rom hack works with little to no issue, sure, some games might have some texture issues or not quite run at a fluid 60fps, but all in all, it's a solid emulator at this point. Anyway, to do it, all you need is the latest Wii64 Rice build as a forwarder channel on the Wii U main menu, and then make sure you launch c2w_patcher before launching the Wii64 Rice channel.

It worked. I adapted the Haxchi configuration and exchanged the image files. Then I installed Haxchi a second time over another DS game from the eShop. I can start c2w patcher right out of the WiiU menu now.
